The special room was so spacious that it felt almost wasteful for a solo stay, and I had a very comfortable time. Dinner included local specialties and even crab as a special addition, so I enjoyed it more than enough. There were also plenty of services such as complimentary late-night soba, a private open-air bath, and a hot stone sauna, and just using them all felt like an incredible value. The only disappointment was that the large public bath is separated by gender on different days, so I wasn’t able to use the large open-air bath.

We stayed here after visiting the Manga Museum and touring Masuda’s storehouses, and it was conveniently close—about a 20-minute drive.We stayed in the Special Guest Room (Japanese-style twin with tatami). The Room was spacious, with a bed area, a Japanese-style seating area, and a desk space, so it was more than enough for three people. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy. Drip coffee, green tea, and sweets were provided, and there were also complimentary water and vegetable juice in the refrigerator—all of which we enjoyed.We chose a Plan with breakfast included, and we were very satisfied with both the portion size and the taste. The private bath was also very relaxing. It was our first time trying the hot stone sauna as well, and it really helped relieve our fatigue—I felt like my lower back became lighter.I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.One downside: we were on the third floor, but footsteps from the floor above carried quite loudly and bothered us.
