Washington R&B Hotel Tokyo Toyocho

I do worry that if I rate this place 5 stars, it’ll become even more popular and harder to get a Reservation—but I’ll be honest.Since my first stay, the great location and wonderful employees have made this my go-to Hotel whenever I’m in Tokyo. This time, did the staff get younger? Everyone’s greetings were excellent. I choose between Japanese or Western breakfast depending on my mood, so I usually eat nearby in the morning, and their cheerful “Have a great day” and “Welcome back” made me feel really good.For the first time, I stayed in a Room on the 2nd floor next to the neighboring building, and I noticed some noise—maybe trains? I’m not sure what it was… It bothered me a little. It’s not the Hotel’s fault, though, so my 5-star rating stays the same.

It was truly appreciated and relaxing to be able to smoke in the Room, especially as many Hotels no longer offer smoking Rooms. It seems you can Earn Points by bringing your own amenities, so I plan to do that next time. Having a convenience store and SEIYU nearby was very helpful. However, one issue was that the air conditioning was too warm; even on fan mode, it felt hot, so I had to open the window in the Room. It would be great if cooling could be available.
