Shimabara Toyo City Hotel

I stay here often.I’m here for business, so I like the simple style.

Located on a small hill within walking distance from Shimabara Port. The nearest stations are Shimabara Port Station of Shimatetsu and the "Nakagumi" bus stop (about 2 buses per hour). A gentle slope leads up from beside the dentist's office. The front desk staff provides courteous explanations, leaving a good impression. The guest rooms are sufficiently equipped for a Business Hotel, with amenities such as a kettle, refrigerator, and three power outlets, including one by the bedside for convenience. The only minor concern is that the toilet lid could be improved, as mentioned by other guests. While the unit bath is slightly dated, it is clean and well-maintained. It would be appreciated if deodorizing sprays like Febreze were provided in the closet. Waking up to views of the sea and greenery in the morning was refreshing. This reasonably priced Hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring Shimabara, Unzen Onsen, Obama Onsen, Hara Castle Ruins, and more during a Multiple Night Stay.
