Hotel Unisite Sendai

I stayed without meals, but the Hotel is close to the station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s also very close to Sendai Asaichi Market, so it was fun to try different foods as I walked around.The Hotel was clean and well stocked with amenities. When I made my Reservation, I booked a single Room (with two beds), but they upgraded me to a twin on the day—perhaps because there was availability—so I could relax in a spacious Room and had a very comfortable stay. I haven’t stayed at other Hotels in the city so I don’t know the typical rates, but it felt surprisingly affordable for how good it was. If I have a chance to visit Sendai again, I’d like to stay here again.

During this time of year marking the Great East Japan Earthquake, I stayed for two nights to attend Yuzuru Hanyu’s ice show. It seemed quite busy. The Room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I’m sensitive to smells, but it was so odor-free that I wondered how they managed it—very comfortable. There were plenty of outlets, no mechanical noise, and I felt the thoughtful attention from a guest’s perspective. Also, there was a morning market nearby where I enjoyed eating sushi and buying seafood. Most of all, I was truly impressed by the warm, heartfelt service from the staff. A Hotel’s quality really is determined by its people. Thank you again very much. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.
