I chose this accommodation because it offers a room with an open-air bath at a great price during the off-season. Even with breakfast and dinner included, it's very affordable, which is perfect for our family. Although the building was smaller than I had imagined, the accommodation floor and room were stylish and clean. This time, we prioritized the room's bath when making our choice, so we didn't research much about the meals... However, I assumed they would serve local dishes to some extent and that the taste would be fine—and headed there without high expectations. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much... But after finishing my meal, I was completely full! Haha The food was so delicious that my child and I ended up eating more than we planned while chatting about how tasty everything was. I love game meat—especially venison—so being able to eat plenty of it made me very satisfied! The charcoal-grilled meat cooked in the heat was tender; tempura was crispy; sashimi was fresh; mixed rice brought joy—all of it tasted amazing!! In the morning as well—the buttery aroma of bread varieties made them irresistibly delicious; there were many side dishes for rice; freshly cooked omelets were delightful to have—and even miso soup tasted wonderful! If there's one thing I'd mention—it’s that the bathtub plug wasn’t sealed tightly enough causing slight water leakage… just a minor disappointment though. Overall though—I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Despite being last-minute—they kindly accommodated changes in guest numbers over phone consultation with polite & attentive service from staff members who helped us greatly—thank you so much! At check-in too—a staff member went out of their way stepping out from behind counters guiding us towards elevators while cautioning against nearby steps on floors below—thankful gestures indeed appreciated deeply by us both times alike yet regretfully unable catching names expressing gratitude directly instead here now sincerely apologizing thusly instead again truly sorry missing chances We found a great off-season discount Plan and made a Reservation for two. The Room had an open-air bath with a view of Mt. Yotei right in front. Though compact, the Room was well-designed with the sink and toilet separated, and the toilet located near the entrance, away from the bedroom, making it very convenient. Meals included two buffet-style options with a wide variety of dishes, and we especially enjoyed the delicious game meat cuisine at dinner. It was our first time in Hirafu, but it was quiet with excellent weather and an amazing location, making for a wonderful trip. Thank you very much!
