Hotel de l'Alpage

We visited with our family for the first time on our wedding anniversary, and it was the best stay we could have hoped for. The dining was beyond words—we enjoyed the best French cuisine of our lives (the fact that our eldest daughter finished almost the entire course says it all). The staff were wonderfully welcoming to children, and the live dessert performance delighted them. We also appreciated the manager’s witty hospitality, as well as the concept of a restaurant and bar with no age restrictions. With its carefully crafted European architecture, the Accommodation stayed very warm even though it was cold outside, and paintings were displayed throughout—making it feel like a luxurious night in an art museum. Our daughters, who love museums, had a great time taking lots of photos. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but it was such an amazing experience that I had to share it. We’d love to return regularly—thank you again!

I had high expectations for this accommodation after reading the reviews. The building was very beautiful with numerous paintings, like an art museum. I enjoyed a relaxing time in a spacious room with high ceilings. The French course meal was absolutely delicious. I had a leisurely bath in the large bathtub. It was a quiet and elegant holiday. The staff's service was excellent, and it exceeded my expectations—definitely a hotel I want to visit again!
