Onyado Den Rikyu

We stayed here to celebrate our son’s high school graduation and to make some memories before he starts living on his own. The Room, the cuisine, the Onsen, and the staff’s service were all outstanding. We were especially impressed by how delicious the food was. We were also surprised that our son—who is usually very picky—finished the entire course meal. The staff were kind and provided truly pleasant hospitality, and we would definitely like to stay again.

It was a wonderful Accommodation where we could truly feel the spirit of hospitality.Each Room is separate, so it felt like staying in a private villa—an incredibly luxurious experience. From the open-air bath in our Room, we could also enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Yufu, which was deeply moving. We were glad to have clear skies.Above all, the meals were truly, truly delicious... It made us want to come back again and again for the food even more than for the Onsen!We would also love to visit the restaurant run by the same group.In addition, all of the staff were kind and courteous. They explained everything about the Room carefully, and during meals they shared little stories and gave detailed explanations of each dish. It really felt like this Ryokan values hospitality above all else.We were also very impressed that they kindly made onigiri from our leftover rice as a late-night snack.It also made us very happy when a staff member asked at checkout, “Would you like me to take a photo?”This is the first Ryokan that has moved us this much. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much!
