Shimonoseki Onsen Kaze no Umi

The facility and rooms were very clean, with all rooms facing the Kanmon Strait, offering an amazing view. You can also enjoy the scenery from the bath. In the morning, you can admire the sunrise over the sea from your balcony. After checking in, we had some time before dinner, so we took a walk along the promenade by the sea behind the hotel. The meals were excellent; dinner was a fugu (pufferfish) course meal that was very delicious, and there was a good variety of alcoholic beverages to enjoy with it. Breakfast was also delightful. The staff provided very pleasant service throughout our stay. This time we stayed for only one night, but next time we plan to book a Multiple Night Stay to fully enjoy both the hotel and sightseeing in Shimonoseki.

We only had breakfast at the Hotel as we dined out for dinner, and it was absolutely wonderful. Recently, many places offer buffet-style meals with mediocre content, but the breakfast here is carefully prepared dish by dish and served in a beautiful multi-tiered box like a treasure chest. The interior design is also very tasteful.
