    Enjoy a resort-style getaway!

    We stayed as a family of four to celebrate our eldest daughter’s 20th birthday and commemorate our younger daughter’s university enrollment. It was spacious enough for all four of us. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of breads—so satisfying that we didn’t even need lunch. This time we arrived in time for the 3:00 PM check-in, but we think it would be better to come earlier and enjoy the activities. We would love to stay again.

    A variety of services on the island are offered at reasonable prices.

    Overall, we were very satisfied and would like to stay again. Our child was thrilled—probably the happiest of any trip so far. The Facility where kids can really move around was spacious and packed with fun, including a ball pit and trampolines, and the Plarail corner also had plenty of tracks and trains available. Alcohol, soft-serve ice cream, and souvenirs have become surprisingly expensive at other tourist spots lately, but prices here were very reasonable. One concern was that we noticed a musty smell as soon as we entered the Room. The staff kindly changed our Room right away, but every Room we checked had the same smell. It may be difficult to address due to the location. Also, the indoor Onsen area was too cold to really enjoy, which was disappointing. Next time, we would like to visit in summer. Our whole family had a great time. Thank you very much.

    I had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    The property was so vast that I felt lost at first, but after staying for three days, I got the hang of it and enjoyed exploring various areas. I had a blissful three days relaxing in the spacious and stress-free room, enjoying the Onsen, and savoring delicious meals. Although various facilities were available during check-in and check-out times, I chose to relax in the Onsen. Meanwhile, my husband waited in the manga lounge but seemed to have some idle time. Thanks to the thoughtful assistance of the bus driver heading to Nagasaki Station on our way back, everything went smoothly, which was a great help. All staff members greeted us with smiles and made us feel very welcome. Next time, we plan to visit with three generations—eight people in total!

    Whale Dome: A Fascinating Experience for Adults Too!

    It had been a while since our last visit (back when it was called "Nagasaki Onsen Yasuragi Iojima"). We went on a three-generation trip with my 5-year-old and 2-year-old daughters and their grandparents, and the staff were so kind that we felt completely at ease during our stay. The Facility now has new child-friendly amenities, and my daughters were thrilled with "Kids Land" and "Villa Olimpica." The highlight of the trip was the "Whale Dome"! It's a ball pit inside a whale, but the depth is incredible—it’s deep enough for adults to sink in completely! (laughs) Though it was quite challenging for my out-of-shape body, we played to our hearts' content until time ran out. The meals were absolutely delicious! The freshness of Nagasaki's seafood is truly exceptional. Everyone was fascinated by the treasure box-style presentation, and even my picky eater daughter finished her kids' meal entirely (surprising!). Personally, I loved the self-service sake, shochu, and wine bar—I couldn’t resist going back multiple times. We stayed in a Terrace Lodge Room; since it's part of a newly built Facility, it was very clean, spacious, and quiet. The heating worked perfectly—I even fell asleep on the sofa... When it gets warmer, I'd love to relax on the terrace hammock while gazing at the sea. I think this is an excellent Facility for families with children (from infants to elementary school age), like us. However, areas without children maintain a calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation. There are lounges where you can play board games as well as cafes, bakeries, hot stone spas—there’s so much to do that one night isn’t enough! I can understand why they recommend Multiple Night Stays here. I heard there will be new glamping facilities soon; I’d love to visit again when there’s an opportunity. Thank you very much!

    3-Year-Old Granddaughter Approved!

    We stayed as three generations: my husband, daughter, and grandchild. The adults enjoyed various baths, while the grandchild had fun in the playroom, ball pool, and Onsen pool. The food was also delicious! One night and two days weren't enough to enjoy everything. We want to come back during a different season.

    As a returning guest, I find this accommodation to be well-equipped for staying with my beloved dog. It’s a comfortable place that both my wife and our dog truly enjoy.     Very friendly and attentive staff.

    Arrived early before noon to fully enjoy the facilities. Checked in at the front desk to leave my luggage, where I was assisted by a young woman with a "Trainee" badge. She was very polite and explained everything clearly and kindly, even though I felt overwhelmed by the variety of facilities available. On the second day, a young man at the front desk also provided helpful guidance with great care. Having stayed at accommodations across the whole country, this hotel’s exceptional hospitality left me deeply impressed. Stayed one night in a twin room at NAGI Hotel. The room was incredibly clean, especially the bathroom and toilet, which were spotless and comfortable to use. Had lunch at Amimoto Dining Hall. When I ordered tempura rice bowl from their entrance photo menu, they mentioned it couldn’t be made as they didn’t have saury fish available. However, one of their staff spoke with the chef and offered an alternative using barracuda instead of saury fish. The staff member was very kind! The tempura rice bowl filled with barracuda, seafood delights, and fresh vegetables was absolutely amazing. Everywhere we went during our stay, all staff members were kind and attentive. We enjoyed an excellent room and had two perfect days here. Thank you so much! We definitely look forward to visiting again!

    For 2 children + 1 pet.

    We stayed with our family of four, including our eldest son in first grade, our 3-year-old younger son, and a medium-sized dog. Overall, it was an incredibly affordable and satisfying accommodation. While we were not particularly interested in the beach, we chose this accommodation because it allowed pets. We spent two days enjoying the spa resort and kids' area, which left our children very happy. Our pet enjoyed leisurely walks in the dog run directly connected to the room and was content after a long walk around the island before falling asleep exhausted but satisfied. We stayed for two nights and three days with breakfast included, and I highly recommend their breakfast. The staff—mainly international—were extremely polite and excellent, while the food was delicious. Although there were limited options specifically for children’s meals, it wasn’t a significant issue at all. On both days of our stay, we experienced some difficulty with lighting the stove due to malfunctions; however, staff responded promptly and courteously. For exploring around the island: free bicycles or buses are available; however—as bicycles are unlocked—you might find that someone else takes your bike while you’re sightseeing nearby! It would be helpful if locks or some kind of "in-use" markers could be provided. The spa resort has a depth of 1.1m (3ft 7in), so parents must keep an eye on their children at all times! You can bring your own float rings (air pumps are provided free of charge), or you can rent them on-site as well. Speaking only from my experience as a male guest: there is no changing room available near this facility; those concerned about privacy may find using it inconvenient. Regarding private family baths: they offer ample space along with great facilities overall—but advance notice regarding water quality might help manage expectations better since its chloride-rich composition makes it salty-tasting! While details about its properties/benefits appear inside rooms themselves—they aren’t mentioned anywhere online during reservations nor upon check-in entry processes either! In conclusion—we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here & plan future visits again soon! Thank-you kindly over these past three wonderful days spent together here!!

    Glad I stayed here!

    We stayed at this accommodation to spend time with our baby, dog, and family. It can be challenging to find accommodations that cater to both a baby and a pet, but we were able to relax here comfortably. The necessary items for the baby, such as a baby bath and Milton kit, were thoughtfully provided. For our pet, water bowls, towels, and deodorizing supplies were more than sufficient. All rooms offer ocean views with stunning scenery. The in-room BBQ set and breakfast buffet featured local specialties from Nagasaki using locally sourced ingredients—everything was absolutely satisfying. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance. Thank you very much!

    First Stay

    This was our first stay after moving to Kyushu. At first, we thought it looked a bit old, but with so many activities available, even our usually indoor-loving family had a blast sweating it out together at the beach, cycling, and in the pool. Swimwear rental, stone sauna wear, onsen access, and all activities were included in the accommodation fee, so we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest until we were completely exhausted. If they tidy up things like tree pruning a bit more, it would be a perfect resort. We’re planning to visit again in another season!

    It was the best summer vacation!

    Although it is a bit far from Nagasaki Station and Nagasaki Airport, the relaxed atmosphere made for a wonderful summer vacation. The bar lodge is connected to a dog run, and it seemed our dog enjoyed it as well. While dogs are not allowed, we also took a ferry from the port to Takashima for swimming at the beach, which made our stay even more satisfying.

    Enjoy Summer

    We stayed as a family of seven. Surrounded by beautiful nature with the sea and mountains, we were able to fully enjoy activities such as swimming, Onsen, cycling, and BBQ. The staff were very kind, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back!

    This is my second stay. Every year around the same time, I stay at this accommodation with my dog. The service is excellent, and my dog experiences no stress. I can relax in the spacious room. The breakfast bread is incredibly delicious and very satisfying. I will definitely visit again next year!

    This is my second stay.

    We previously stayed for one night with our large dog, but it felt too short, so this time we stayed for two nights. The Room where we could stay with our beloved dog was very comfortable. The variety of baths available was also highly satisfying. For meals, we chose BBQ in the Room. On the first night, the portion was large but the content wasn’t quite to our liking; however, on the second night, both the portion and content were perfect and very satisfying. The staff were kind and attentive, allowing us to have a truly pleasant time.

    Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the bath was wonderful. Honestly, it's a shame that it's difficult to fully enjoy this Hotel without staying for at least two nights. I stayed one night with my girlfriend. It was a very satisfying Hotel. I would like to visit again.

    With dogs

    I had a more fulfilling time than I expected. Guests could enjoy free cafes and dog cosplay. The most enjoyable part was the dog run directly connected to the Room. I could tell my beloved dog was eager to go outside and enjoy it. Although there was only one time slot available for the Onsen, I would like to try the stone sauna next time I visit. The amenities included drinks for my beloved dog, Pet Sweat, which they happily drank. I would love to repeat my stay here again.

    I will make a reservation again.

    I heard from the children that they had a great time using this place for their school trip, so I decided to make a reservation. Since the check-in time was from 5 PM, we aimed to arrive around 4 PM and found plenty of places to play. Our family has an elementary school girl, a junior high school boy, and a high school boy, so there are gender and age differences, and their ways of playing are different. Usually, we struggle with planning around one child, leaving someone bored. However, here, there were spots for each to enjoy, and parents could enjoy stone saunas and onsen. It was perfect. We wished we had come earlier and planned our activities better! We wanted to enjoy the stone sauna more leisurely! Each of us had our own impressions, and we talked about using it again in the summer. I would like to make a reservation soon. The room was used by five people, but it was spacious. We are talking about staying for about two nights next time. Thank you very much.

    Places to Go with Small Children

    The spa and relaxation room we were looking forward to were facilities for small children. The onsen attached also had old facilities, and I thought the garden trees needed a little more care. The onsen close to the accommodation building was quite ordinary, but it was relatively good. The changing room is old. The stone sauna was reasonably good. The room was renovated and clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, there were few amenities, and no water was provided in the room. Dinner was Japanese cuisine, and while it was good that it was served quickly, it was disappointing that not everything was that delicious. There were times when the onsen was not available due to school trip use, and it wasn't quite suitable for adults seeking relaxation, which I somewhat regret.

    I had a great time.

    This was my first time using this facility. All the staff were pleasant, and the facilities were well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy multiple hot springs and stone saunas. I was satisfied with the coffee I ground myself at the café! However, I felt the pool was more suited for younger people, so we, being older, refrained from using it. The room had a terrace and a hammock, providing a relaxing space. It's a place I'd like to visit again.

    Iojima is the best

    I stayed for one night from August 19th. This is my third time using this place, as I come every year. I always stay in the Terrace Lodge Twin, and every year I have a very comfortable time. This time, I had dinner at the Terrace Diner for the first time, and it was the best so far. The staff's response was good, and although I couldn't eat pork, they accommodated me properly, and their thoughtfulness was wonderful. Thank you very much. I'll come again next year. Thank you for taking care of me. It must be tough in the heat, but please take care of your health and keep up the good work, everyone.

    It was wonderful.

    We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay with children, and the hospitality was excellent in every aspect, from the Room to the activities, allowing us to truly relax. The Room was clean, and with the ocean right in front, we had a pleasant stay. There were no expensive services typical of resorts, and everything, including the beach, was reasonably priced, which was surprising. The children also said they definitely want to come again, so we would like to visit again in the summer.

    It was excellent!

    I used it for the first time because all my friends and acquaintances said it was great. The hotel was Kaze Hotel. The building itself seemed to be from before the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but it was well-cleaned and beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable to use. However, the head of the toothbrush in the amenities was very large and difficult to brush with, so if you're concerned, it might be better to bring your own toothbrush. Around Kaze Hotel, there were a kids' land, a Japanese restaurant, and a hot spring, which made it very convenient. I thought that even if it rained, you could still enjoy yourself enough with the kids' land, Olympica, and the spa at Kaze Hotel. The Japanese restaurant was impressive as all the dishes served were delicious. In many leisure-oriented facilities, the meals are just so-so, but here, everything from the appetizers was truly delicious, and I was very satisfied. If you're lucky, you might even see a snake dance! The spa was, of course, enjoyable, but the open-air bath with a panoramic view of the sea was incredibly pleasant. A point to note about the spa is that there is no toilet inside, and it is shared with the dining area in front, so the toilet is soaking wet. If you use the dining area without wearing a swimsuit, I recommend using the toilet in front of the dining area before going in. The beach had beautiful sea water, which was impressive. The shower room cost 100 yen, so there were no people, and you could use it leisurely. There was a spin dryer, so you don't have to take your swimsuit home soaking wet. All the staff at each facility were very kind, and I was able to enjoy myself from start to finish without any unpleasant moments for the first time in a while. This time, I didn't have time to visit Villa Olympica during my 2-day, 1-night stay, so I want to try again next time! I understood well why everyone recommends it. It's highly recommended for families with children!! Haha

    The best summer vacation

    I visited for the first time. I only brought the usual accommodation set and a swimsuit, but I had a great time! You can borrow indoor wear and towels for free, and you can rent a float at a low cost, so I was able to keep my luggage light. Guests can use the facilities in the area for free, so I could use them without worrying about the budget. I was worried about getting food and drinks since there are no convenience stores nearby, but each hotel has a shop selling cup noodles, drinks, and snacks, so there was no need to worry. The only complaint I had was that I was looking forward to putting the kids to bed at night, asking my wife to stay with them, and enjoying billiards and darts at the Fisherman's Lounge by myself. However, when I got there, a group with children had taken over the darts, and there were several people waiting for billiards and darts, so I had to give up on playing. Other than that, it was fantastic!!

    Nagasaki Iojima

    I chose this hotel in Iojima for a one-night stay during my trip to Nagasaki. The staff's hospitality and service were excellent, allowing me to have a pleasant stay. However, I was concerned about the weeds in the garden in front of the room and around the facility. It could have been a bit tidier... When I rented a bicycle, which was available for free, the battery was low, and it ran out while climbing a hill, which was quite troublesome. It might be better to check the battery level yourself... Also, the brakes were not effective, and the chain made a grinding noise on the hill. I wish they had maintained it properly. It could potentially cause injuries. The bath felt a bit aged... It was nice to have a sauna, but it was disappointing that there was no cold bath. I stayed during the earlier part of June, and I thought about having dinner outside the hotel, but most of the restaurants were closed. Dining out in Iojima is not very promising. In the end, I ate at the Amimoto Shokudo within the hotel premises, although it was a bit of a walk from the room... It was quite delicious, and the staff's service was good. Overall, I'm glad I stayed here.
