    Family Trip

    We stayed for one night with our children. The pool was great, and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent as well. We would like to stay again.

    Family-Friendly Stay

    We stayed here when visiting Nagoya. Right after check-in, our child was delighted to play in the pool, which felt like it was reserved just for us. As evening approached, more families with children arrived. We were able to enjoy plenty of time there from early on, and our child was satisfied. We also had a buffet meal inside the Hotel. It was a casual buffet that matched the price, and it was tasty. One issue was that a children’s lottery draw was included as a perk of our Accommodation Plan at check-in, but it was forgotten. When we contacted them from our Room later that night, staff came to us. We won an “all-you-can-eat ice cream” prize, but since dinner was already over and ice cream was also available at the breakfast buffet, we didn’t have a chance to use it. It felt pointless if they forget the perk in the first place. Another concern was noise. At night, footsteps from the floor above echoed and bothered us; some guests may find this an issue. Overall, I think it’s a reasonably good Hotel for families with children.

    A highly functional Hotel

    What I liked - It was close to Fushimi Station, making travel by train convenient. - The Room was cleaned and in good condition. - The Room was spacious and had a desk, which made remote work easy. What I’d be happy to see improved - This may not be unique to this Hotel, but the noise inside the Hotel due to inbound tourism was noticeable, and it was especially crowded at check-in. Guidance from the front desk staff also felt somewhat insufficient, and the service came across as impersonal, so I didn’t feel reassured. - Some amenities listed on the Reservation site were not in the Room, so I had to call to request them. It would have been helpful if this had been explained at check-in. - Breakfast felt geared toward families. Personally, considering the price, I would be more satisfied if it were a bit more substantial. Overall, it’s a functional Hotel and that part was good. However, if you only want functionality, a Business Hotel is enough. Considering that the Accommodation Fee should reflect hospitality and service as well, I don’t think I would stay again. Because it’s a major chain Hotel, my expectations were higher—so it was disappointing.

    Lounge check-in took a very long time.

    I stayed on a Plan that included access to the Executive Lounge. As check-in was available at the lounge on the 2nd floor, I requested check-in at around 15:05. I was told it would take some time and to wait in the lounge. After waiting about 75 minutes, I was finally able to sign the check-in documents. Then I waited another 25 minutes for the room key to be issued, and check-in was ultimately completed about 100 minutes later, around 16:45. When I asked why check-in took so long, I was told: - There are only two PCs, so processing check-ins takes time. - Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff, cleaning is not keeping up. Around 18:00, when it was time for cocktail hour, I visited the lounge again. However, it was full at that moment and I was told they would contact my Room once space became available. I believe they contacted me about 70–80 minutes later. Whether for check-in or cocktail hour, if they had provided an estimated waiting time, my impression might have been different. Especially for check-in, I had assumed it would be at most about a 10-minute wait, so I never expected to wait 100 minutes. If I had known in advance, I could have gone out instead of being stuck waiting in the lounge. The drinks and food in the lounge were relatively well stocked, and cocktail hour in particular felt excellent, but overall my impression ended up being that you simply have to wait—constantly. Since everything above happened in connection with the Executive Lounge, it’s possible that staying on a Plan without Executive Lounge access would leave a completely different impression.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night. All the staff were cheerful and provided excellent service. I also used the pool, and there were plenty of towels available by the poolside and in the changing room, which was very helpful. Everything was great except that I had to wait about 20 minutes in line for breakfast. I would like to stay again.

    As others have mentioned in their Reviews, the Hotel likely has no intention of improving, but the lounge staff spent a long time chatting loudly with regular guests, making the lounge extremely noisy and uncomfortable. (I’m not trying to criticize the regulars; it felt more like the staff were proactively initiating casual conversations.) I’m not saying they shouldn’t talk, but this isn’t an izakaya—please be mindful of the setting. It seems they may be confusing “homey” with an overly familiar, cliquish atmosphere. The IKYU Diamond member benefits also disappeared at some point. The Hotel seems desperate to retain Hilton members, but by prioritizing only regular guests, they don’t seem to realize that service standards are declining. Given that Hilton Nagoya’s Review ratings have been dropping among Hotels in Nagoya, I hope they will also listen to feedback from occasional guests.

    It was a very disappointing stay.

    I stayed with my 4- and 6-year-old children. I made a Reservation through IKYU.com under the family Plan, and the Reservation details stated that “children under elementary school age receive free breakfast and Child Sharing Existing Bedding.” However, at check-in I was told that breakfast for my 6-year-old (not yet in elementary school) would be charged. I showed the Reservation screen and explained, but they repeatedly insisted, “Our Hotel policy is that charges apply from age 6,” and would not accept it. Later, the Hotel contacted me and confirmed it would be free under the family Plan. Even though the initial guidance was incorrect, they simply said casually, “It’s fine to make it free,” without a sincere explanation or apology. I was very disappointed with how this was handled. In addition, on the morning after our stay, my 4-year-old had multiple marks on their feet that looked like insect bites. The cause is unknown, but as a family with small children we felt uneasy about hygiene as well. I hope for improvements in how Plan descriptions align with actual operations, as well as in customer service.

    We want Hotel-style service.

    I checked in late at night right as Room service was ending, and I hadn’t been able to eat dinner. They kindly accommodated me, which was a huge help. Both the Room service meals and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I was very satisfied. The Room was standard but relatively spacious, with enough space to open my suitcase, and I could relax while enjoying the great view from a high floor. I drove there, and it was very convenient with an expressway exit nearby. I felt it offered excellent value for money.

    Repeat Guest

    I stayed for two nights on the Executive Floor this time. The room was always clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I will definitely use it again next time. I want to complete staying in all the rooms on the Executive Floor. At the Executive Lounge, the staff's service is excellent every time. There is a wide variety of drinks, plenty of food options, and everything is delicious—especially the curry! The cheesecake from the cake shop on L Floor is amazing! I had breakfast at the buffet venue on the same floor, which offered a wide variety of dishes that were mostly delicious—though there were some items that didn’t suit my taste. However, there were several staff members at the breakfast buffet venue with poor service attitudes! Even though multiple staff members noticed us upon entry, they did not guide us to our seats and kept us waiting unnecessarily. Upon leaving as well, it seemed like they selectively greeted some guests while ignoring others. Unfortunately for us, we received no greeting at all! This was my first such experience after consistently using Hilton properties (which usually have wonderful staff). It’s disappointing because there are great team members too. I won’t be using L Floor’s buffet venue again; I’ll stick to dining in the lounge from now on! Other than that issue, this is an excellent hotel overall. Looking forward to staying here again!

    Amenities have been simplified.

    It seems the selection of amenities is minimal, possibly for environmental conservation, but a fabric deodorizing spray would be appreciated. Additionally, the Executive Cocktail Time remains as excellent and satisfying as ever.

    Excellent service

    From check-in to check-out, we received exceptional service. The staff at the Executive Lounge warmly welcomed us, and both my child and I became fans of the hotel. However, we were disappointed with the room due to insufficient cleaning and maintenance: ○ Two light bulbs in the room were out (they were replaced promptly, but during the first replacement, dust was stirred up which triggered my allergies, so I declined replacing the second one. The room remained dim). ○ The showerhead was loose and leaked water. ○ There was grease on the wooden part of the headboard from what seemed to be a previous guest, which felt unpleasant. ○ There were water stains on the bathroom glasses. ○ Some cutlery in the lounge had visible dirt on them. As someone who is particular about cleanliness, I chose to stay on an Executive Floor where extra care is expected for cleaning; however, it fell short of expectations this time. That said, we found the design and spaciousness of our room very appealing—my daughter even mentioned she would love to live there! Despite some disappointing aspects, overall it was a very satisfying stay and we look forward to visiting again next time!

    Executive Floor

    The treatment difference between regular guests and others was significant. The offerings during the refreshment time at the Executive Lounge were disappointing and sparse. I do not think I will use this service again.

    Excellent

    It was my first time staying here, and it was amazing. The staff's service was excellent, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The lounge offered a wide variety of dishes and drinks, with the curry being exceptional. Breakfast felt slightly limited compared to other Hilton accommodations, but it was delicious. Next time, I plan to stay for more than two nights. I look forward to staying here again in the future. In one word: outstanding!

    The lounge had a fri...

    The lounge had a friendly and homey atmosphere, with many regular guests engaging in conversations with the staff. However, the interactions across the counter and tables felt exclusive, which was not entirely comfortable for me as a visitor. I chose an Executive option to enjoy a quiet and relaxing experience, but perhaps due to the location or timing, it fell slightly short of expectations. While some areas like the bathtub showed signs of age, renovations and thorough cleaning ensured that I could relax comfortably in the Room.

    1-night, 2-day stay with children

    The Hotel offers a clean and calm atmosphere, true to the Hilton brand, with excellent staff hospitality. However, as the building itself seems to be quite old, there were some minor inconveniences: - The shower partition in the bathroom was small, causing water to splash onto the floor. - Weak ventilation in the bathroom/toilet led to condensation on items placed on the vanity. - Adjusting the air conditioning settings had little effect. - Many areas of the parking lot were very narrow, making it difficult to exit from the driver's seat. The breakfast buffet was abundant and allowed for a relaxing time.

    Hilton: A Long-Awaited Stay

    I stayed at the Hilton as part of my summer vacation memories. It had been such a long time since my last visit that I felt a bit unsure at first, but thanks to the kind staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable and delightful stay with my grandchild. I look forward to visiting the Hilton again during another season for more enjoyable experiences.

    I have stayed at high-end Hotels for both relaxation and work. Surprisingly spacious, reasonably priced, and very satisfying. From now on, I plan to stay here no matter which city I visit. Thank you very much.

    I used it for a birthday celebration.

    I was very much looking forward to my stay, as I thought it was a first-class Hotel. Overall, I had a fairly comfortable experience, but I felt the staff's attitude was slightly indifferent, which concerned me. Additionally, the Hilton representative near the elevator was very enthusiastic, which left me feeling a bit perplexed. I believe part of it may have been due to my own high expectations, but honestly, I felt a little disappointed.

    I keep coming back!

    I enjoyed the accommodation plan with breakfast and pool access! The breakfast featured many Nagoya specialties, and the egg dishes were delicious. I also had a great time at the pool. I would love to visit again!

    Not as expected.

    This was my first time using the accommodation. I stayed on the Executive Floor, but it was hard to relax as children were running and shouting in the hallway, and I could hear footsteps from the floor above. The room lacked amenities, with no cleansing or cosmetic items for women. There was a faint smell of tobacco in the bathroom, even though it was a non-smoking area—perhaps someone without manners had smoked there. The lounge during cocktail time was almost full, with children and even babies making it noisy. Breakfast offered only a Western buffet menu, but for me, the variety was sufficient. Japanese menu options can be ordered if reserved by 8 PM the previous day; however, I did not do so. I enjoy dining at Hilton restaurants but will likely not stay here again for accommodation purposes. There are other places with better hospitality available elsewhere.

    Thank you very much.

    As expected from Hilton, everything was excellent. However, during the Obon holiday period, it seemed there were slightly fewer staff than needed. I also use other Hilton properties and feel that more staff exchanges between locations could be beneficial (apologies if this is already in place). There may be opportunities to learn from other Hilton locations.

    It feels like a busy Hotel.

    The facility seemed aged and not as clean as expected. The indoor pool was smaller and narrower than the photos suggested, crowded with people, noisy, and not relaxing. Those uncomfortable with confined spaces might find it challenging. Since my stay was during the peak of Golden Week, the accommodation was bustling with guests from various countries, and the staff seemed extremely busy. The convenience is excellent overall, so I might consider staying again despite some drawbacks. Breakfast lived up to Hilton's reputation—consistently delicious!

    There are differences in services.

    I stay at Hilton hotels about 30 nights a year, both domestically and internationally. This is my second visit to Nagoya. During my previous stay, my child received amenities and extra towels, and we were very satisfied with the facility usage and meals, which led us to visit again. This time, I stayed on a weekday intending to fully enjoy the hotel at a relaxed pace. When I inquired about room upgrades (subject to availability), it was available for an additional fee; however, I opted for a larger room since it was a special occasion. There was no information provided regarding Diamond member benefits, children's amenities, gifts in the room, or welcome drinks. While these are additional services, as others have mentioned in reviews as well—if they are not offered consistently, they should not be listed as benefits. Additionally, there were some cleaning issues such as hair left from previous guests that stood out slightly; however, the front desk staff and fitness center staff provided excellent service overall. The location is also very convenient. My child particularly enjoyed the coloring set included in the children's amenities during our last visit and even carried it around at home afterward—so we look forward to this being available again next time. Unlike other hotels that treat small children differently from adults here they are treated equally which contributes positively to their personal growth—we truly appreciate this approach. The jacuzzi in the fitness area was out of order during this stay; hopefully it will be repaired by our next visit!

    Hilton chain hotels may all be the same, but the Hotel's WIFI, while password-protected, is not encrypted. If you need to work, you will have to use your own WIFI. Those who require this should take note.

    Shower unavailable due to plumbing issues.

    During my stay, the shower was unusable due to a water pipe issue, despite the outside temperature exceeding 30°C. This was my first experience of such an issue at a Hotel of this grade, and I felt dissatisfied about having to pay the full amount. Additionally, I was unhappy with the following service aspects: - There was no prior notice about the water pipe trouble, and only extremely hot water came out, which almost caused burns. - When I called the front desk to request a Room change, I was told that all Rooms were experiencing the same issue and my request was denied (understandable if true). - Even after the problem was resolved, there was no follow-up communication from the front desk. - At check-out, there were no apologies from the front desk staff. Only when I inquired whether the issue had been fixed did they apologize.

    Always very satisfied!

    I keep coming back because of the indoor pool. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I often used the well-equipped day-use plans, but it seems that the number of rooms is now limited, so I opted for an accommodation this time. It's a shame that it's not as easy to visit anymore...

    Unfortunately.

    I stayed in the Executive Room for 3 nights and 4 days to attend a nearby event. Being during the Golden Week period, I was somewhat prepared, but I could hardly sleep due to loud noises and running sounds from neighboring rooms and the hallway at all hours of the night and early morning. Additionally, when I inquired about menu details with room service staff or interacted with front desk staff, there were moments that left me feeling dissatisfied, which made the trip rather unpleasant. As for the facility, it was concerning that the toilet and shower were not separate. No matter how careful I was while showering, water would inevitably get on the toilet lid or floor, which bothered me greatly.
