Sumiyoshi Higashi Station × Highly rated facilities at Hotel·Ryokan

I used this place when I went to a live event at Yanmar Stadium. It's a straight road from the stadium, the service was polite, and I enjoyed a complimentary breakfast, which was great! There was a convenience store and an izakaya nearby, so it was nice to take a short walk when I got hungry!

We chose this Hotel to fully enjoy Abeno Harukas for the first time at my daughter’s request. I was a bit anxious about finding my way to the front desk, but the staff were very kind and made us feel at ease. Since the upper floors were being renovated, we made a Reservation on a regular floor, but the Room was spacious, with a wonderful view from the large windows. The bathroom also had a separate washing area and was conveniently divided by a door, making it easy to use. The Hotel’s loan items were well stocked and very helpful. We also used the lounge; although the outside view wasn’t as open as we expected, it had such a great atmosphere that it hardly felt like we were on the 38th floor, and it was very comfortable. There was also an excellent variety of food during cocktail time, and after we both enjoyed it thoroughly, we re-entered the observatory using our Harukas one-day pass—seeing a completely different mood and scenery from daytime was truly breathtaking. I’m really glad we chose Marriott. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on this trip and had a very satisfying experience. The Accommodation was clean and well maintained down to the smallest details, making it very comfortable to spend time in. The staff were courteous, and I felt at ease from check-in to check-out. The Room had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to relax comfortably. I requested the breakfast buffet at short notice, but they kindly accommodated me; there was a wide variety of options and everything was delicious, so I really enjoyed it in the morning. I was so satisfied that I ended up eating too much. It is conveniently located near the Tennoji Station North Exit, with great access to the surrounding area, which was very helpful. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I used the machine for check-in, thinking it would be quicker, but I was surprised that I had to input not only the representative's name but also the names of all other guests. Why? At other accommodations, I've always checked in at the front desk with just the representative's name. It might have been less hassle to write it down at the front desk. I also used the machine for check-out. It was simple and smooth. However, unless someone dislikes face-to-face interaction, I don't see much advantage in using machines. It was a new and clean hotel.

I discovered this place on TikTok and decided to stay during the Expo. Conveniently located near the station, with a convenience store and coin laundry nearby. This is my second time staying here. For meals, both sushi rice and plain white rice are available, making it hard not to go for seconds! The egg yolks are rich, so I highly recommend trying TKG (tamago kake gohan). The large public bath offers a shampoo bar and even has a covered open-air bath—perfect for relaxing as long as you like. Free iced tea, coffee, snacks like rice crackers, and cookies were also delightful touches. True to its name "Namba," I walked back from Namba Station and even explored Shinsekai on foot. I'll definitely stay here again when visiting Osaka!

My family home was under renovation, so I looked for a nearby Hotel and stayed in a double room for three nights. It felt a bit small for two people, but it was compact and had everything we needed, including a microwave and refrigerator, which was very convenient. Being able to ship our luggage from the front desk was also very helpful.

The front desk service was excellent, always welcoming with a smile and very approachable. The Room was odorless, but the elevator had a wonderful fragrance. The okonomiyaki around the Hotel was delicious, and I could feel the spirit of Osaka in the people. During this trip to Osaka, I didn’t encounter anyone with poor manners—it truly felt like a wonderful prefecture. Thank you very much!

My husband injured his leg, so we changed our booking from a twin to a double and extended our stay from one night to two. During our stay, his leg pain worsened, and when we called the reception, they arranged a taxi for us. They have eliminated unnecessary services and are a Hotel that responds to guests’ needs. We were very satisfied. We are truly grateful to all the staff. Thank you very much.

I was a little anxious because it’s basically unmanned, but the email communication was very courteous. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bathtub and shower were separate, so I could relax in the bath. From the number of shoes at the entrance, I think there were other guests as well, but it was surprisingly quiet. There are slippers (sandals) to go from the entrance to the Room, but for hygiene you might want to bring disposable slippers. Thank you for your hospitality. I’d like to stay again.

Located right in the heart of Shinsekai, we enjoyed delicious food and drinks, then relaxed at a leisurely pace in a spacious Room. We couldn’t make it this time, but there’s a public bathhouse nearby that opens early in the morning, so we’d like to enjoy that on our next visit.

We had a relaxing stay. We look forward to staying again.

At check-in, my grandchildren who live nearby said they wanted to stay with us, so I asked just in case. The staff responded very kindly and allowed Child Sharing Existing Bedding. They were especially gentle and caring with my 8- and 3-year-old grandchildren.\nThis was the most moving service experience of our trip. Thank you very much.

It was my first time staying here, and although it was reasonably priced, it was a proper Hotel. I have stayed at other Hotels in the same group before, but this was my first time at this one. As soon as I entered, all the staff greeted me with “Welcome” and “Hello,” and they were very friendly. I was nervous at first, but I quickly felt relieved and at ease. The limousine bus stop is also within walking distance, so I would definitely like to stay here again.

The breakfast is delicious. The Room is comfortable. The staff provide exceptionally hospitable service, so you can feel at ease.

Thank you for allowing us to check in even though we arrived early. The parking is a coin-operated lot next to the Hotel, but during our stay the front desk validated it so we could enter and exit as many times as we liked, which was very convenient. From the second floor, there is direct access to the deck leading toward Ohama Park, which was helpful when taking walks around the area, such as along the canal promenade. Breakfast was generally very good. There was a wide variety of options, and the desserts in particular were excellent. It was also great to have a water dispenser and an ice machine; we appreciated the environmentally conscious approach of providing water without plastic bottles.

The lobby offers a spacious and open atmosphere with stunning views. The Room is compact, with a clean and separate bath and toilet, which is excellent. Breakfast is truly delicious and outstanding. Of course, the customer service is also exceptional. I will definitely use it again.

This was our second stay, following last year. This Hotel is highly recommended for families, especially those with small children. It is close to both JR and subway stations, and within walking distance of the zoo and Tsutenkaku Tower. The Hotel also has a pool. There are various types of baths to enjoy as well. The Room was clean and well equipped with amenities. Breakfast is included, the price is reasonable, and we would like to stay again.

I stay here a few times a year. I’m very grateful to be able to stay at this rate. It was quiet and very pleasant. The Room was clean and well maintained. I will be staying again next week, in April, and in May. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The complimentary small bread service and free coffee were great. Being able to check in early, especially, was wonderful! My Room was right in front of a restroom without a door, so I worried that noise might carry late at night, but fortunately the hand dryer was out of order. When I went to the large public bath at night, there was no hot water, and I was surprised to see an Asian female guest getting into the tub without hot water. Aside from that, other guests had good manners and the location has excellent access to transportation, so I would like to stay again.
