Tō-ji Station × Highly rated for rooms and amenities at Hotel·Ryokan

Checked in at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 3 Checked out by 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 4 I had a very comfortable stay. I was not bothered at all by noise from the Room above or next door. One thing I would like to mention: I noticed a damp smell from the shower curtain in the bathroom. You may want to replace it with a new one. That was the only issue. The staff were very kind, cheerful, and courteous. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station, so it is slightly far, but it did not bother me much. There is also parking available, so I recommend this Hotel if you are coming to Kyoto by car. (1,300 yen from check-in to check-out) It is a Hotel I would like to stay at again. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay at the accommodation, and I had a pleasant experience again. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you very much. The large public bath was also very enjoyable; however, I noticed that while there were four mirrors and hair dryers in the changing area, there were only two chairs available. Some guests had to stand while drying their hair. Additionally, the chairs were quite low, making it difficult to see one's face in the mirror when seated, so many guests stood for skincare as well. Although this is not a place where one spends a long time, it was the only inconvenience I experienced during my stay. I look forward to staying here again. Thank you very much!

It was very convenient because it is close to Kyoto Station, the route is easy to follow, and there is an AEON Mall across the street for buying necessities and dining. The Room was also clean, and although it started drizzling after check-in, the umbrella rental was very helpful. I would like to stay here again.

While enjoying the view overlooking the town, I sipped coffee and reflected on life. Though brief, I appreciated learning about Kyoto through the provided books. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

I stayed here on a business trip. Having a large public bath is really great! It’s available until 1:00 a.m. Perhaps because I used it quite late at night, I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath all by myself. The Room I stayed in was spacious, and the bed was large as well, so it was very comfortable. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. However, the massage chair felt quite worn out, and it made me hesitate to use it. I was looking forward to it, so that was the only disappointment—but overall, including the staff’s service, I was very satisfied.

The view of Toji Temple from the window was absolutely stunning! It’s located very close, so I took a short walk at night to see the beautifully lit-up temple. With just one stop from Kyoto Station, the location is highly accessible. There’s also a Ministop downstairs and a 24-hour supermarket nearby, making it incredibly convenient. Additionally, the staff at reception were very polite and helpful, which I truly appreciated. I’ll definitely choose this place again when visiting Kyoto!

Stayed in a house for the first time. The whole family was delighted. There were a few places that could be improved. The stairs should have a handrail. It's dangerous! The bath temperature did not reach the specified temperature! That's all. Everything else was very good!

The staff were very kind and left a great impression. The Room and other facilities were compact and clean. Although it requires a Reservation, we appreciated being able to use the large public bath.

I often stay here when traveling to Kyoto. This time, it was a Multiple Night Stay, and I would have appreciated replenishment of amenities. I would be happy if at least the toothbrush could be replaced with a new one. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and they were especially helpful when I parked my car in the parking lot.

When I first read the reviews, I hesitated for a moment, but I found it to be a very comfortable and excellent accommodation. The explanations were thorough, and they kindly answered any questions I had. They even told me where to buy items not available in the facility. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the shower and sink were standard. The shared spaces were clean, with no issues regarding the refrigerator or kitchen. You can see Toji Temple right in front (perfect for nighttime visits or morning prayers!), and nearby there’s a 24-hour supermarket, Matsuya restaurant, two convenience stores, a drugstore, Kintetsu Toji Station—and Kyoto Station is just over 10 minutes away if you’re up for walking. The location was fantastic. The environment encouraged mutual respect among guests; about half seemed to be international visitors but there were no problems at all. I’m determined to come back again next year during the same season! Highly recommended accommodation. Thank you so much!

Conveniently located with easy transportation access and close to Kyoto Station. We booked a Room with a double bed. As we stayed as a couple, it felt a bit small, but we were satisfied considering the price. As expected in Kyoto, all the other guests were international travelers.
