Nishio Station × Highly rated Hotel·Ryokan

A new Hotel close to the station. The bed was Simmons and very comfortable. I was thirsty, so I enjoyed a welcome drink of coffee and Earl Grey tea using the electric kettle in the Room. The amenities were well-prepared, and above all, the Room felt clean and pleasant. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the shower water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was also satisfying; the grilled mackerel with salt was hot and delicious. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Okazaki!

I made a reservation for our anniversary with my boyfriend. Although there was an error on my part during the reservation process, thank you for kindly accommodating our request even though it was originally online-only. On the day of our stay, the onsen facility was out of order, but we were able to use a large onsen at a sister accommodation, and shuttle service was provided to the nearby facility. The meals were delicious with great presentation, service, and portions. After warming up in the onsen, they added even more warmth to create wonderful memories. The ryokan's exterior has a retro feel, but the interior is clean with no odors or noise disturbances from outside. At checkout time, I noticed another family saying they would definitely return again. I also want to bring my mother here next time!

Room, bath, and breakfast were all excellent. 100% recommended. I stay at hotels across the whole country 40 times a year.

We stayed as a family. The meals were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, and the tempura fried right in front of us was both fun to watch and wonderful to eat. In addition, the chef even came to see us off when we left, and our attendant handled everything—from serving to clearing away—pleasantly and smoothly. There were also some surprises, and we were truly satisfied with everything. Of course, we also thoroughly enjoyed the baths.

The Room we reserved was on the 13th floor and was spacious and comfortable. The view was wonderful, and we were able to relax at our leisure.

After several years, I stayed at this accommodation again, and the room I stayed in this time was extensively renovated (including the bathroom and toilet), making it feel like a brand-new room. It seems not all rooms have been renovated, but it appears they were updated just last year. The soundproofing was excellent—I couldn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. The mattress on the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, allowing me to sleep soundly. For breakfast, I had a Japanese set meal with many dishes that tasted great. Personally, I preferred this over a buffet as it felt less troublesome. Parking is free (though limited), and overall satisfaction with this hotel is very high in every aspect. If you're staying in Handa City or nearby areas, I highly recommend trying one of the renovated rooms at this hotel at least once. The famous "Handa Red Brick Building" is within walking distance from the hotel.

Although it’s a small town, this Hotel is right in front of Mikawa-Anjo Station on the Shinkansen line, with several Business Hotels nearby. The exterior looks like the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel”! Dinner won’t be a problem. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the izakaya introduced by the Hotel. It was classic, affordable, and had a spacious Room. On a sightseeing trip you may not spend much time in the Room, but it’s a great choice if you want to relax and recover in a slightly larger space. The large public bath was also great. It felt like all the necessary amenities were provided.

I always look forward to visiting this Ryokan because the meals are delicious every time. Thank you for accommodating even our detailed requests. I’m also looking forward to my next Reservation.

The facilities were very clean. Since I came mainly for the baths, it was great that towels were provided and a full set was prepared in a basket inside the locker so I could carry it with me. Also, each time I received a locker key to enter, I could use a fresh new set, which meant I could always use clean items. There are separate relaxation rooms for men and women, and you can move between the changing area and the baths inside; as a woman, it felt like a private space, which I appreciated. I didn’t use the hot stone sauna this time, but there is a women-only option, so I’d like to try it next time. The bath water was excellent. We chose the plan with dinner included and it was delicious. They also serve alcohol, so we could relax. Breakfast had a nice variety as well. For those who plan to bathe multiple times, adding meals is very good value for money. I’d like to keep using this place in the future.

Once your work in Kariya is confirmed, make a Reservation immediately. Parking can also be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so you don't have to rush and can feel at ease. Upon exiting the elevator, there was a stylish wall painting of cars. Inside the Room, beautiful artwork was displayed as well. This elevated the experience to feel like more than just a Business Hotel, adding an elegant touch. The breakfast was also delicious. I would love to use this Hotel again!

We stayed with two dogs and our 1-year-old child. We were worried because we had a lot of luggage, but since we had requested a dog stroller in advance, we were delighted to see one at the entrance with our dogs’ names on it. The dog-first hospitality was wonderful, and the Room was well stocked with amenities for our dogs. We could also dine together, and we were able to relax comfortably. Above all, the staff’s kind attentiveness helped soothe the fatigue from our long journey. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

Although it is not an Onsen, there is a large public bath where I was able to relax and relieve my fatigue. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious.

We stayed on the “Hanakago Breakfast Set (Asazen)” Plan with breakfast included. Breakfast featured local ingredients, was well balanced nutritionally, and was very satisfying. The rich eggs were especially delicious, and the egg-over-rice was outstanding. Dinner was not included in the Plan, but we ordered several recommended à la carte dishes on the day. Everything was delicious, and we were able to enjoy fresh seafood. The ocean view was wonderful, and the well-maintained shoreline made for a pleasant walk. It is a warm and welcoming Ryokan where we could relax at a leisurely pace. We would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed in January during a holiday. The weather was perfect for traveling, and the clear winter air made the scenery spectacular. The open atmosphere of the lobby was also impressive. It truly felt different from city hotels, offering a unique experience. The natural surroundings, fresh air, and views from the mountaintop alone created a wonderful travel mood. The room was a Japanese-style bed type. The view from the room, including both the nightscape and sunrise, became unforgettable memories. The combination of traditional Japanese design with beds provided great comfort. Dinner featured an abalone-focused course with sashimi, grilled on ceramic plates, and sake-steamed dishes—all incredibly delicious! For this price and quality, I would definitely return. The outdoor Onsen was fantastic as well; it alternated between night and morning use for added enjoyment. I also appreciated the free massage chairs for relaxation. Overall, it turned out to be a very relaxing trip. This hotel is perfect for unwinding while enjoying beautiful scenery and Onsen experiences. Thank you so much—I look forward to staying again!

This was my second stay, and this time I stayed in a Superior Twin Room. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was excellent. The room also felt more than twice the size of a Double Room, making it very comfortable. Breakfast had an adequate variety and was delicious.

We stayed here as a family. The food selection was incredibly varied, delicious, and fun—especially the sashimi. For me, it’s the best value in the area. Writing this makes me want to go again. They also held a stamp rally event, which we enjoyed with our child. The building is older and the bath feels a bit small, but I don’t think it would bother you at all if you visit outside peak season. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

There is no parking on-site, but there is a coin-operated parking lot right next door where you can park overnight for 1,000 yen. The Hotel itself has no particular issues. The price is affordable, so I will continue to stay here in the future.

This was my second stay at the chain Hotel, and although the large public bath had alternating times for men and women, it was very nice. The breakfast would have been even better if freshly baked bread was provided in the morning. However, considering the price, I am very satisfied. The amenities are overwhelmingly better than other Business Hotels! There is also a drink bar, which made the children very happy! I will make Super Hotel my top choice for accommodation next time as well. Thank you very much.

Although it was in a neighboring city, we stayed at Hotel Tokai-en upon my mother's request. The New York-style Christmas party, where guests participated in Onsen yukata, was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful illuminations, delicious food everywhere, live jazz performances, and even a surprise visit from Santa Claus wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! It became a wonderful memory for us as mother and daughter. In the evening, on the open deck on the 3rd floor, we enjoyed hot cocoa service while gazing at the lights of Atsumi Peninsula across the sea as the sun set. Roasting marshmallows over a wood-burning stove made them taste even better. The president of the hotel is very friendly and approachable. As this is a long-established hotel popular among locals, I have stayed here several times throughout my life—and I would love to stay again!
