Otsu-gawa Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

The facilities were very clean. Since I came mainly for the baths, it was great that towels were provided and a full set was prepared in a basket inside the locker so I could carry it with me. Also, each time I received a locker key to enter, I could use a fresh new set, which meant I could always use clean items. There are separate relaxation rooms for men and women, and you can move between the changing area and the baths inside; as a woman, it felt like a private space, which I appreciated. I didn’t use the hot stone sauna this time, but there is a women-only option, so I’d like to try it next time. The bath water was excellent. We chose the plan with dinner included and it was delicious. They also serve alcohol, so we could relax. Breakfast had a nice variety as well. For those who plan to bathe multiple times, adding meals is very good value for money. I’d like to keep using this place in the future.

This was my second stay, and this time I stayed in a Superior Twin Room. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was excellent. The room also felt more than twice the size of a Double Room, making it very comfortable. Breakfast had an adequate variety and was delicious.

Although it is not an Onsen, there is a large public bath where I was able to relax and relieve my fatigue. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious.

The staff’s cheerful service was wonderful. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but it was delicious—especially the scrambled eggs. The coffee in the lobby was also very good. Thank you very much.

As always, this popular business hotel offers great value for money, and I've used it many times. However, depending on the timing, you might encounter large groups of Asian tourists, and some of them may not have the best manners, making it difficult for individual guests to relax in the rooftop bath or during breakfast.

Stayed here the night before a weekend event. The facility is not new but well-maintained. The advantages include having a small public bath, free and spacious parking, and breakfast buffet included in the accommodation fee. I also liked the pillows provided. Since there are not many restaurants nearby and it’s located in a quiet riverside area, those without a car might find it inconvenient for dinner; however, dinner options were available at the hotel restaurant, which seems thoughtful. There’s no sense of luxury, but it’s sufficient for solo travelers and offers good value for money! There was an atmospheric sake brewery right in front of the hotel—if you enjoy sake, purchasing some there to enjoy leisurely in your room could be a nice idea!
