Kakizaki Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

Found this accommodation on the way to Kanazawa. It was a plan featuring blackthroat seaperch, abalone, and crab. The facility is old, but the quality of the bath was truly excellent. The high salt content made it very warming, and I stayed cozy for a long time. The room was a bit disappointing. Since it was named "Miharashi," I had been looking forward to enjoying the view from the window, but unfortunately, the view wasn't great. However, dining in a private room offered a somewhat decent view. The food came in an overwhelming quantity! Everything was delicious and left me completely full. However, there wasn’t any menu or explanation about the dishes provided, which was slightly disappointing. Breakfast included an entire Pacific saury fish—quite surprising! Despite eating so much at dinner that I thought I couldn’t eat anymore, I ended up finishing everything because even the rice tasted amazing. I’m really glad we chose this accommodation for our stay!

The front desk staff were helpful, and the Room was clean and nice.\nWhat was disappointing was that the open-air bath was unavailable, and it would have been better if the Room air conditioner temperature could be adjusted more precisely.

Kappo Ryokan Nihonkai Dinner: Boat Platter Enjoyed a luxurious meal with crab, sashimi, and clam rice, leaving us completely satisfied. The Room offered a great view of the sea.

The room offered a stunning ocean view. We stayed with a one-night, two-meal plan, and the dinner was plentiful and satisfying. The sashimi, sea bream shabu-shabu, appetizers, sea bream ochazuke (rice in tea), sea bream fish cake soup, snow crab, and dessert were all incredibly delicious. Breakfast was equally delightful with dishes like yam-topped rice and a large grilled horse mackerel fillet. The white rice was shiny, chewy, and very tasty. Above all else, the hostess and the staff who served us during dinner and breakfast were very kind and provided detailed explanations of each dish. I would love to visit again! I wish I could go back right now!
