This is a Ryokan I have been staying at every year for over 30 years. The staff at the Ryokan have always been kind, attentive, and considerate since my first visit, and the meals are exceptionally delicious. Although the building itself is not new due to its long history, it offers a very relaxing atmosphere. With a lake view, the scenery from the room is absolutely stunning.

Although I had booked the lower-floor (basement) Plan, they upgraded me to the second floor. The Room was clean and spacious, and I was satisfied with the view. The dining area was not crowded, so I could enjoy my meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The selection is simple, but considering the price, it felt reasonable.

The location and Facility are so wonderful that words can’t describe them. I’d love to stay again.

I stayed here after reading some negative Reviews from other guests and preparing myself, but I had no complaints at all and enjoyed a very comfortable stay. I would definitely like to stay here again! Thank you to all the staff!

It was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were well stocked, and there was nothing lacking. If the weather had been better, it would have been even more enjoyable, but aside from that it was a fantastic place! I’d love to stay again.

The Hotel itself is old, but all the staff were kind, which was great. I think it’s a reasonably priced Hotel.

It’s not new, but the bathroom was clean and it was more than sufficient for an overnight stay. I would use it again if I have the opportunity.

The curtains in the room had a musty smell, and the room itself had the same odor. After using an air freshener, the smell disappeared. Other than that, there were no issues.

We made wonderful memories. The beach is right in front of the property, and the location is excellent—we were very satisfied.

We stayed for 3 nights. It’s about a 12–13 minute walk from American Village, but it was quiet and very nice. The Room and balcony were spacious and comfortable. We’d love to stay again next time!

We stayed for one night as a large group to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The moment we entered, we were greeted by an incredible ocean view and perfect weather—an absolutely stunning location! The accommodation featured a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a Japanese-style room, sauna, gym & karaoke room, pool, and rooftop. The furniture and decor were stylishly chosen, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The gym facilities were excellent, the karaoke room was spacious, and the pool was clean and so much fun! From the water dispenser to adorable tableware and amenities—everything was perfectly prepared! Even men's swimwear in the bathroom—it was such a thoughtful touch! Before our stay, they kindly provided information about nearby supermarkets and recommended shops. At checkout time, the staff personally came to greet us—they were truly wonderful. It turned out to be an amazing trip with absolutely no complaints at all. Thank you so much! Next time we hope to enjoy a multiple night stay!

After our Reservation, you kindly called and offered to switch our Room. On the day of our stay, you also prepared a step in advance to help with the level difference in the Room’s unit bath, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful attention. You had arranged parking near the entrance, but unfortunately our car navigation guided us to the seaside parking lot, and we parked there instead. The restaurant staff were also kind, and we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The Onsen was spacious and very relaxing. From the Room, we could see both the torii gate and the sea; at night, the torii was illuminated and the view was beautiful. In the morning, we enjoyed watching seabirds and fishing boats coming and going, making for a very pleasant time.

There are two private bedrooms, each with two beds. In addition, there are two sofa beds on the second-floor loft area of the living room, so even a large group can stay very comfortably. The bathroom is also spacious, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the Onsen. The amenities were well stocked, and we had no inconveniences during our stay. The kitchen faces the living room and is very easy to use, with plenty of tableware and cooking utensils provided. A hot plate was also available, so we all made sukiyaki together and enjoyed a fun meal—another great memory. Above all, we would like to express our gratitude regarding the wine opener. When we called because the one provided was broken, you brought a new one right away. We truly appreciate your quick response despite our sudden request. Thanks to you, we had a wonderful time. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

It was great to be able to enjoy YouTube on the projector in a detached house without worrying about the surroundings. There was no outside noise, and we had a quiet and comfortable stay. The Facility were well equipped, including a BALMUDA electric kettle, and the large bathtub was spacious and very relaxing. There was an indoor bouldering area, which our child really enjoyed. The net laid underneath also looked comfortable. The tableware being stored in boxes was convenient, but it would be even easier to use if labels on the outside showed what each box contains. We also really appreciated the map and information about nearby restaurants. It might be even clearer if the restaurant introduction page listed each shop’s map number next to its name. We had a very relaxing time. Thank you very much.

The Hotel itself is quite old, and the Room also felt dated—but even for me as a Gen G, it somehow made me smile. It had a nostalgic feel and was a very relaxing place. Even the bath in the Room felt homey and calming. It was a bit chilly so I couldn’t swim in the sea, but since there’s a beach, I think it would be really enjoyable during summer vacation season. Also, breakfast portions were very large—possibly too much for women or children. I regret not asking for a smaller portion before it was served to avoid wasting food. Everyone was very kind, and unlike many modern Hotels that are all-inclusive and can feel busy or noisy with “this and that,” it was wonderfully peaceful. I’d love to come back during swimming season. From what I researched, there aren’t any shops nearby within easy walking distance, but the shop inside the Hotel was open until 10:00 PM, which was very helpful.

A luxurious, unhurried escape right in front of the sea. The private pool, sauna, and relaxation area were fantastic—an ideal space to enjoy without worrying about anyone around you. Spending time at a leisurely pace while taking in the ocean view was truly soothing, making it easy to forget everyday life and fully unwind. Rather than packing your schedule with sightseeing, this villa is perfect for those who want to slow down and simply enjoy being here. It was a wonderful villa—luxurious yet somehow calming—and a place I’d love to return to. Thank you!

The view of Mount Fuji from both the Room and the bath was amazing. The meals were also delightful, with fresh vegetables, seafood bowls, and fish meunière. Thank you for your hospitality.

I had a relaxing time in the single Room. The bath was soothing and warmed me to the core. I was very satisfied with the cost-performance. I would love to stay here again when visiting Matsue.
