    Nagano Prefecture will introduce the “Nagano Prefecture Accommodation Tax” from June 1, 2026, with the aim of enhancing the appeal of tourist destinations and improving the visitor environment. In accordance with prefectural regulations, our Accommodation will collect the Accommodation Tax as outlined below and remit it to the prefecture. We appreciate your understanding.

    Start date: Applies to stays on or after June 1, 2026
    Tax amount: JPY 200 per person per night *Planned to change to JPY 300 per person per night from June 1, 2029.
    Applicable to: All Accommodations in Nagano Prefecture (some exceptions apply)

    Please pay the Accommodation Tax locally, separate from your Accommodation Fee. This applies to all Reservations, including those made through various reservation websites.

Car/Motorcycle: About 25 minutes by car from Suwa IC on the Chuo Expressway.
Train: From JR Chino Station, take the Meruhen Kaido bus and get off at Tetsuzan Iriguchi.
From Tokyo (Shinjuku area): Take the JR Limited Express Azusa to Chino Station. Then take the Meruhen Kaido bus and get off at Tetsuzan Iriguchi.
By car: Take the Chuo Expressway toward Suwa. Hachioji IC → Suwa IC (about 2 hours). From Suwa IC, take National Route 299 toward Yokoya Onsen for about 25 minutes.

From Nagoya:
By public transport: Take the JR Limited Express Wide View Shinano to Shiojiri Station, then transfer to a local train to Chino Station. (Then follow the directions above.)
By car: Take the Chuo Expressway toward Tokyo. Nagoya IC → Suwa IC (about 2 hours 30 minutes). From Suwa IC, take National Route 299 toward Yokoya Onsen for about 25 minutes.
