Bear-free Mt. Yahiko! Mt. Yahiko is a standalone mountain surrounded by plains, and there are no bears.
A 12,000V wildlife-deterrent electric fence is installed around the campground—please visit with peace of mind.
BBQ is possible on the terrace even in the rain! *Please bring a waist-high grill.

Visit Yahiko Shrine, hike Yahiko/Kakuda/Kunigami, shop at the fish market.

A manager is on-site 24 hours a day and will respond responsibly to any rule violations.
After 10:00 PM, guests must stay inside their cottage or tent; this is a quiet campground.
Families with children and solo female campers are welcome to stay with confidence.
Our campground sits on private land (approx. 2,000 tsubo) on high ground in a seaside village along Teradomari Nozumi Coast,
with breathtaking views of Sado Island and sunsets.
In spring it is surrounded by cherry blossoms; you can see the Sea of Japan and Sado Island in front and Mt. Yahiko behind.
This is a very small private-style campground with four cabins/cottages (“kebin”) and about ten tent sites.
It suits guests who enjoy nature quietly—watching the stars at night—and who understand what camping is truly about.
Please visit only after fully understanding these Facility characteristics described above.
*Cancellation Fee will be charged regardless of reason; Reservations from those who cannot agree will be declined.
*This is a small Facility; please refrain from making Reservations for noisy groups.
*Strictly prohibited: making an early “just-in-case” Reservation only to cancel later; or Reserving without confirming your group size.
*There are no rentals/vending machines/shops on-site other than firewood sales; there is a local store 3 minutes away by car, and a supermarket plus home center about 15 minutes away.
