  • This was my first time staying here.I love Onsen and have visited many places, but this Accommodation had excellent private baths. If I had to mention one thing, my yukata sleeves kept getting in the way during meals, so it would have been nice to have something like a band or elastic to hold them back. The private baths are available 24 hours, so I was able to try all of them. I hope to visit again during the colder season. Thank you very much.It was my first time trying venison sashimi, and it was delicious.

  • On my previous stay, I had No Meals Included, but I still remember the delicious smell coming from the dining area, so this time I stayed with meals included. As expected, dinner was delicious! The elaborate appetizers and the mochi on skewers (?) were wonderful—items you don’t often get to eat in everyday life. Also, the Onsen was perfect as always. This time I also used the large public bath that I missed last time—maybe this one is actually closest to the source spring? (The private baths have a faucet for adding water, so there were times when the water temperature felt slightly cooler, but the large public bath was free-flowing and personally I loved it because it was nice and hot!)Until now, when visiting Northern Kanto I always ended up going to Kusatsu or Shima, but from now on it looks like Yunishikawa will be a repeat destination too. Thank you very much!

Thank you for choosing our inn.

The season of fresh greenery has arrived.
Once again this year, Yunishigawa Onsen will be wrapped in its most solemn atmosphere of the year with the special event, the “Heike Grand Festival.”

Long ago, the Heike clan is said to have fled to this remote region after losing the Genpei War.
The “Heike Grand Festival,” which carries that legend into the present day, is Yunishigawa’s largest historical spectacle—an experience that transports visitors into an illustrated scroll from the Heian period.

    ■ Heike Grand Festival: Event Overview
Dates: June 6 (Sat) and 7 (Sun), 2026
    - Location: Yunishigawa Onsen town area and “Heike no Sato”
    - Admission: Free to watch (Please note that separate admission fees apply for entry to each Facility, including “Heike no Sato.”)

*Please note that the Heike Emaki Procession will not be held.

    ■ Highlights
Step away from the crowds and feel a living legend.
Take a leisurely stroll through “Heike no Sato,” viewing traditional houses and armor on display as you imagine the lives of those who once lived here in hiding...
It’s an ideal way to enjoy a quiet trip with someone special while satisfying your curiosity.

    ■ Reserve early!
During the Heike Grand Festival, many history enthusiasts and travelers visit from The whole country.
If you are thinking, “I want to stay in Yunishigawa on these dates,” we recommend securing your Room as early as possible.

Enjoy a special early-summer getaway filled with history at Yuno Toki.
