Tenku no Yu Nakaya Ryokan
Gunma Prefecture/Minakami TownA baby-first Onsen Accommodation chosen by over 40,000 moms and dads! With reassuring facilities, moms can relax and enjoy a soothing break.
Tenku no Yu Nakaya Ryokan is a relaxing Property nestled in the mountains of Shima Onsen, Gunma Prefecture. Its greatest charm is the open-air bath close to the sky, as its name suggests. This luxurious experience allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of daily life and rejuvenate your mind and body. One of its features is the ability to enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season, from the fresh greenery of spring and the vibrant autumn leaves to the serene snow-covered landscapes. The Onsen water, known for its high skin-beautifying effects, and the creative cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients are also highlights. Surrounded by the stunning nature of all four seasons, this is a healing space where you can relax. From the abundant Onsen and luxurious rooms, you can admire the majestic mountains, leaving behind the noise of everyday life. The dishes, prepared with fresh local ingredients, are exquisite, offering a blissful moment that satisfies both the heart and body. Friendly staff provide warm hospitality and support in creating special memories for guests.
Although we were two senior adults, this Accommodation was just as kind to us as it is to children. It lived up to its reputation—and more. The warm, traditional old-house atmosphere was wonderful, and our Room even had a kotatsu. We really appreciated that. The meals were very filling, with many dishes including creative cuisine and menus using local ingredients. The carefully crafted dessert after the meal—Japanese-style ice cream—was also delicious. We especially loved the shiso aperitif; we liked it so much that we wished they sold it by the bottle to take home. All the staff were quick on their feet and always greeted us with a smile. The open-air bath while snow was falling also felt truly luxurious. One night wasn’t enough, and we hope to stay again soon.Thank you very much.
