Relaxing Japanese-Style Accommodation

Introduction of the Accommodation

Living Room

A soothing Japanese-style retreat showcasing master temple carpentry and the warmth of natural wood.

“Kiyomizu-tei” is located at the foot of Mt. Haruna, at the entrance to Minowa Castle. Originally built for sericulture, this rare home showcases the craftsmanship of temple carpenters and the natural beauty of wood. The owner’s family has carefully preserved this residence and warmly watches over each guest’s stay. What we value most here is comfort and a sense of connection with others.

Japanese-style room

A heartwarming stay in a spacious Japanese-style room

Our spacious Japanese-style room with two 16-tatami sections is a special space unique to this Accommodation. Relax together in the same room and lay out futons side by side to naturally deepen conversation and connection. BBQ Image

Relax and unwind amid the savory aroma of BBQ and the sound of laughter.

We offer a comfortable space where everyone can enjoy a BBQ. With a roofed gazebo and tarps, you can relax and enjoy even on rainy days. Children can have fun nearby with bubble play, water play, and watermelon smashing while staying close to the adults. As this area gets little snow, BBQs are possible year-round, and in winter you can also enjoy them while warming up under a kotatsu.

Hot pot

Gather around a hot pot at the kotatsu for a cozy, warming time for both body and soul.

As a private Accommodation where even large groups can relax in comfort, we offer a kitchen and dining area designed for enjoying hot pot. Making hot pot together around the ingredients naturally sparks conversation, creating a special shared mealtime. Why not take a break from everyday chores and enjoy cooking together as a group? With air conditioning, you can enjoy hot pot in any season—not just winter.
