All the staff were polite and kind.After relaxing in the Onsen, we enjoyed a delicious dinner. There was a variety of visually delightful dishes made with seasonal ingredients, and you could tell everything was carefully prepared.The Room showed its age, but it was kept very clean and felt comfortable, so we were able to rest well.At the breakfast buffet, there were also many carefully prepared small side dishes, and everything was very tasty.We were extremely satisfied with our one-night, two-day stay. There is also a table tennis room, tennis courts, and a gymnasium, so next time I’d like to bring my daughters as well.

Since the refrigerator is located outside the Room (near the entrance), there was no noise, and they even provided a bag for carrying items needed for the bath—thoughtful attention to detail.Above all, I really loved how well-designed the bath facilities were. There were bubble baths and jet baths like those at a health Onsen in town, but with excellent details such as adjustable angles of the jets and seating options that made it especially enjoyable.

In spring, the cherry blossom spots, including Shobara Ueno Park (one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots), are beautiful. The breeze that passes through the mountains and highlands is refreshing in summer, the stunning autumn leaves are a feast for the eyes in fall, and the silver-white leisure activities in winter are enjoyable, making it a place where you can have wonderful experiences throughout the year. Sakura no Sato La Foret Shobara is located in a prime location, just a 3-minute drive from the highway interchange, up a hill from the city center of Shobara. At night, enjoy the open-air bath under the starry sky in the tranquil nature, savor the rich ingredients of the satoyama in your meals, and relax in the spacious Room.
One of the pleasures of Stays Laforet Shobara is the bath. We offer a variety of 16 types of baths, including open-air baths and large communal baths heated only with the onsen source, as well as jacuzzis and saunas. The usage hours for guests are from 15:00 to 23:00 and from 6:00 to 9:00. *This onsen is heated only with the onsen source and used in the large communal bath and open-air bath. Other baths use plain hot water. Chlorine-based agents are injected and circulated for filtration to maintain hygiene as a measure against Legionella bacteria. <Open-air Bath> Surrounded by greenery, the open-air bath offers a view of the Chugoku Mountains in the distance. At night, enjoy a relaxing time while gazing at the starry sky. The morning mist bath and evening mist bath each offer a different scenic open-air bath experience. <Large Communal Bath> The large communal bath also uses water heated from the onsen source, just like the open-air bath. Being in the forest, it features a spacious and open area with wide glass openings, offering a great view. You can relax and feel the changing seasons while soothing your body.
