  • Notice of Accommodation Tax Implementation

    From April 1, 2026, the obligation to collect Accommodation Tax by Hokkaido will be implemented.

    Accommodation Fee (per person per night):
    Less than ¥20,000: ¥100
    ¥20,000 to less than ¥50,000: ¥200
    ¥50,000 or more: ¥500

    *The "Accommodation Fee" used as the basis for calculation refers to the amount payable by each guest per night to the accommodation facility after deducting:
    - The cost equivalent to meals, entertainment, use of facilities (excluding guest rooms), and other similar services provided with accommodation.
