A new container Hotel located 16 minutes from the Meishin Expressway. Compact and comfortable rooms allow you to enjoy private time without worrying about noise from neighbors. All rooms are equipped with Simmons double beds and electric massage chairs. A complimentary breakfast corner is also available.

Second time
This is my second time staying at R9 during a bike touring trip, following last year's stay in Iwakuni. The Room was clean and surprisingly comfortable for a container-style accommodation. There is enough space between Rooms, so noise was not an issue. Unlike Iwakuni, where the door lock used a passcode, Higashiomi uses card keys, which made it slightly inconvenient to check if I had the card key every time I left the Room. Having a convenience store nearby was very handy. As for meals, you get one free frozen food item; while the pilaf I chose in Iwakuni wasn’t tasty, the curry in Higashiomi was decent. The ease of stepping outside quickly is another appealing feature. Although my destination for next year’s tour is undecided, I would like to stay here again!

Highly recommended Facility!
A container house I always wanted to stay in. The ceiling height is sufficient, the bed is comfortable, and my tired body was rejuvenated with a massage. Of course, it’s a clean Room. For breakfast, I enjoyed frozen curry heated in the microwave available in the Room, which allowed me to efficiently start my journey the next morning. Great value for money—I wish there were more of these places!
