The surrounding environment is quiet and safe, located one street off the main road, with Takamatsu North Police Station to the south, ensuring a peaceful and secure setting. Within walking distance, you’ll find udon shops open early in the morning, 24-hour dining establishments, and convenience stores, making it a very convenient location for meals during your business trips or travels. From the Manager: *Please note that the bathroom is a unit type and small. We hope you can consider it as a shower room. The Hotel has a retro feel, and while the design is old, the structure is very solid. We strive to contribute to creating memorable and comfortable journeys for all our guests. I planned my trip to Takamatsu from scratch for the first time. While searching for a reasonably priced Business Hotel with decent quality, I decided on Takamatsu Palace Hotel.Since my goal was sightseeing and visiting udon restaurants, I thought any place to stay would suffice, but this hotel pleasantly exceeded my expectations.The reception staff were very friendly, and they provided drinks to guests opting out of cleaning for Multiple Night Stays, as well as hot masks, which was especially appreciated after arriving on a sleeper train.The amenities were excellent, and even as someone who uses professional-grade beauty products, I was delighted with the high-quality disposable shampoos and conditioners, with two types to choose from.The Room was very clean, and I had no particular complaints. For those considering nearby hotels and trying to compromise on price, this hotel is undoubtedly a comfortable and enjoyable choice.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 10/7/2025I stayed for a 5-night multiple night stay to visit the Setouchi Triennale. The accommodation is close to the station and provides easy access to the ferry terminal. There are convenient stores and a supermarket near the station, as well as plenty of dining options for dinner. Complimentary coffee and tea were available in front of the reception, and borrowing an umbrella was very helpful. The building is old, and both the room and bathroom are small, but it was sufficient for sleeping purposes. The room was clean. If you spread out your luggage too much, space can become an issue, so some planning is necessary. While it wasn’t overly bothersome, you can hear sounds like showers or water running from neighboring rooms; if you're sensitive to noise, this accommodation might not be ideal for you. The room included a bidet toilet seat, hairdryer, refrigerator, and smart TV. Since the lighting is dim at hand level, bringing a portable LED lamp could be useful. Due to overlapping with November holidays and the Setouchi Triennale period, it wasn’t inexpensive accommodation; however, other hotels were also expensive during this time frame so it’s understandable!
