Additionally, savor traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine and a variety of dishes centered around Joshu brand meat in a tranquil restaurant. Relaxation on spacious beds is also a delightful experience.
We stayed in a twin room as a couple. Instead of checking in at the counter, we were seated on a sofa and enjoyed tea and yokan while completing the reception process, which was very relaxing. The room was spacious and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were proper meals rather than buffets, allowing us to fully enjoy them. We were thrilled with the complimentary half-bottle of wine at dinner and ended up drinking too much together. Considering the service and facilities provided, we felt the price was very reasonable and were thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended!

However, as a sauna enthusiast, I was disappointed that there was no morning sauna and no water station available. The nighttime illumination of the Yubatake was beautiful, and the strolls were fulfilling—Kusatsu is truly amazing!
