A women-oriented accommodation featuring art and antiques, offering relaxation with stone saunas and spa treatments.
A property focused on art and antiques, popular among women and couples. Equipped with stone sauna and spa facilities, offering relaxation. There are 44 rooms in total, 20 of which feature open-air baths. The open-air baths are made of hinoki wood, ceramics, stone, and logs, each with a unique charm, allowing you to enjoy beautiful night views while listening to music. The water is natural onsen, highly alkaline, and known as "beauty water."
We stayed for two nights as a family. To be honest, given the price, we didn’t expect that much…From having staff at the entrance driveway help unload our luggage,to being able to choose cute yukata,to receiving coffee tickets for the morning café—everything was wonderfully attentive! The Room was spacious with large windows and a view that never got old.The toilet was a new automatic model and very comfortable. The vanity area was also roomy, and there were plenty of bath towels, which was convenient. We were also glad to have a large air purifier.Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner.A male attendant took care of us, and we had a great time. The menu differed on both days with thoughtful variety—honestly, it made us wonder if this price was really okay. The baths were available all night, which was very convenient, and everything was kept extremely clean. There were also higher chairs, which helped because we had an elderly family member with bad knees. The open-air bath was close by as well, so it wasn’t too cold.We ended up focusing mostly on the baths, but there’s also a sauna—if we had taken things more slowly, we could have enjoyed that too. It’s a shame that the private open-air bath doesn’t have a washing area, but the bath itself—made by hollowing out a huge cypress tree—was wonderful. Both the main building and annex inside the Accommodation were very well maintained, with paintings and antique-style maps on display and beautiful sofas—it truly felt like an amazing space. If I had to mention just a few points:The changing room for the private open-air bath is very cold, so it would have been nice to have something like a heater. The futon pillows are quite firm… If you’re used to soft pillows, please be aware. It would be fantastic if guests could choose feather pillows! More Hotels offer this now, so I hope you’ll consider it.It would also be perfect if there were a water dispenser in the bathing area. That said, everything exceeded expectations for the price—thank you so much.It felt great that the entrance staff remembered us; they welcomed us on day two as well and greeted us with smiles when we left. The morning café served excellent coffee. On day two we didn’t have tickets anymore, but our family still wanted to go. The cups are lovely and so are the sofas—I highly recommend it. We didn’t visit the bar at night, but it seemed there is a bartender there, so it looks like you can enjoy drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.
