Experience the tradition of Kyoto, just a 7-minute walk from Shijo Station.

Upon opening the sliding door at the entrance, you are greeted by a cool breeze passing through the corridor garden, a 5-meter high atrium, and an okudosan, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Originally a Kyoto townhouse of a Buddhist altar shop from the Taisho era, it has been carefully renovated to preserve its appearance and maintain a sense of privacy. The property is located in Kikuyacho, a friendly Kyoto neighborhood where people involved in kimono and Buddhist altar crafts reside, embodying the essence of Kyoto life. In August of Reiwa 6, the kitchen, workspace, washing machine, and 1LDK room with onsen for workation and long-term stays, "Sakura," were renovated. The maisonette "Asanoha" retains the charm of the former Buddhist altar shop's guest room and living room, and the detached tea room "Momiji" once used for entertaining distinguished guests. During your stay, the onsen in all rooms is available at a constant temperature. Please soothe your tired body from strolling around Kyoto and visiting temples and shrines in the onsen of your room.
