Relax with high-speed internet, spacious parking, and comfortable Rooms.
All rooms offer high-speed internet access, and there are two free outdoor parking areas available. The spacious area accommodates large trucks. The rooms are spacious, providing a relaxing environment, and from the large windows, you can view the Ōu Mountain Range. Additionally, we offer monthly changing menus and chewy-textured Iwaizumi yogurt. There is also a free space from a former café, which can be used for passing time after checkout or as a meeting place.
There are convenience stores and izakayas around the Hotel, which is very convenient!Breakfast was very delicious. The yogurt was thick and incredibly tasty! The restaurant staff were very friendly, greeted us with a smile, and it reminded me that there are so many kind people in Iwate.I would like to stay here again next time.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 3/24/2026I was originally considering a different Hotel, but only smoking Rooms were available, so I stayed at this Hotel instead. My requirements were:[Non-smoking Room][Large parking lot][6,000 yen per night with breakfast included]This Hotel met all of them.Since it opened in 1985, the moment I stepped inside, it felt like I had time-traveled back to the Showa era.Old Showa-style Hotels are disappearing these days, so it was an unexpected and welcome experience. The Facility is old, but well maintained and very comfortable. When I took the elevator to my floor and unlocked my Room door, I knew for sure:it has the type of air conditioner without temperature control. It’s so comfortable that you can stay in short sleeves even when it’s cold outside. In other words, you won’t wake up at night feeling chilly. The bed was also comfortable, and I slept soundly. The shower had a mixer tap that was a bit tricky to adjust, but I’d experienced this at another Hotel before. If you run hot water first and then gradually add cold water little by little, you can get it to just the right temperature. The bathtub fills in about 10 minutes, and the shower pressure was more than adequate.I saw Reviews mentioning heated toilet seats, but I didn’t miss having one.I thought the Room lighting was slightly dim, but if you’re just there to sleep it’s not an issue. There were two outlets behind the TV and a power strip with USB ports by the bed.You can pick up a newspaper in front of the elevator and read it in your Room. The breakfast area was very spacious. There may not be a huge variety of items, but it was nice being able to eat as much as you want. It’s set up so you can slide your tray along while picking up food—an ideal layout. Some other Hotels could learn from this.Showa-era Business Hotels like this are becoming rare.I’d like to stay here again if I have another chance.
