It boasts excellent access to the city center, with Ikebukuro Station just 2 minutes away by JR Yamanote Line, Shinjuku Station 11 minutes, and Tokyo Station 22 minutes, making it an ideal location for both business and sightseeing. Additionally, it is very convenient for travelers, being only 51 minutes to Haneda Airport. The hotel features 224 capsules that are more spacious than typical capsule hotels, providing a comfortable space of one tatami mat size for sleep and relaxation. The design is clean and privacy-conscious, allowing guests to relax comfortably. To ensure a safe stay for female guests, a women-only floor has been newly established, and it is non-smoking, allowing guests to enjoy their stay without worrying about odors. Furthermore, Capsule Inn Otsuka has focused on its sauna facility, replacing the stove that has been in use for 27 years since its founding with the latest METOS iki stove compatible with auto löyly, and has completely renovated the sauna room. This enhances the performance as a sauna, allowing guests to experience even more refreshment. The clean and comfortable capsules, the reassurance of a women-only floor, and the renovated sauna facility form the charm of Capsule Inn Otsuka.   • Unexpected in a good way

    I stayed here because the price was affordable and it’s close to the station. It says 30 seconds from the station, but it felt more like a 1–2 minute walk. The Facility overall felt a bit old, but it was clean, so I had no issues. Amenities included not only shampoo and body soap, but also makeup remover and toner. There were loungewear, a bath towel, and two face towels provided, so even for a last-minute stay I felt you could stay comfortably without bringing anything. The capsule itself was surprisingly spacious and relaxing.On the downside—like other Reviews mention—the foot mat towel in front of the shower room was soaking wet, so I’d like them to replace it for each guest if possible. Also, while I was checking in at the front desk, a half-naked man was wandering around; if that kind of thing bothers you, this may not be for you (the staff did warn him right away, but since it’s a men-only floor he didn’t seem to care much). For this price, I felt the service was more than enough. If you’re not too picky about small details, I recommend it.

  • The capsule is slightly larger.

    The capsule is slightly more spacious than standard capsules, providing less of a confined feeling. The room temperature is comfortable, and sleeping with the provided blanket is very pleasant. The sauna features auto löyly and heat wave masters for an intense sweat session—amazing! Ice is available by the cold bath, allowing guests to add it as they like for an extra-chilled experience.
