Nestled in a quiet corner of Isawa Onsen, "Meitei no Yado Hotel Koshien" offers a serene escape surrounded by a 1,500-tsubo Japanese garden showcasing the beauty of nature through the seasons. Enjoy an extraordinary and relaxing experience with complimentary private baths, private stone saunas, and private saunas available within the accommodation. Indulge in luxurious moments of tranquility in your own private space. For dinner, savor seasonal kaiseki cuisine served in your room or a private dining area for an exceptional stay enveloped in peace and refined hospitality.
The private sauna was a luxurious and relaxing experience. After the sauna, I also enjoyed the private open-air bath, which was amazing with a view of the night sky! The courtyard illumination and sea of clouds were also stunning! I will definitely visit again!!!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 1/24/2026Upon check-in, we were welcomed with matcha and konpeito in the lobby while receiving an explanation about the accommodation's system. As we had informed them in advance about a guest with mobility issues, they kindly prepared a room close to the 1F onsen. Although there was no elevator to access the dining area on the 2F, a chair lift was available, making it easy to navigate without any problems. It might be helpful to include photos of the chair lift in the accommodation guide. The room was clean and overlooked a courtyard pond where koi fish swam. Fish food was provided in the room for guests to enjoy feeding them (children would especially love this). A humidifier-equipped air purifier was also available.Reservations for stone saunas, private baths, additional dishes, drinks, and more could all be made via a tablet provided in each room. This system was very convenient and seemed effective as part of infection prevention measures.Regarding the onsen (I can only speak for the men's bath), there were two indoor baths at 39°C and two outdoor baths with lower temperatures than that of indoor ones—one even cooler than its counterpart. While it may not suit those who prefer hot baths, it's perfect for those who enjoy soaking longer in lukewarm water like I do—it felt great as if absorbing all its benefits slowly! Including information about onsen temperatures might be useful too. Thanks perhaps due largely because many rooms feature private open-air onsens or attached ones; public bathing areas remained almost empty during my visit allowing peaceful relaxation throughout! Each type/temperature variation within stone saunas catered well towards individual preferences which added value overall experience-wise! Reservations handled seamlessly through tablets followed by key retrieval from lobby-installed boards post-use return process bypassing front desk interactions altogether proved efficient indeed! While vending machines weren't present inside premises complimentary coffee offerings alongside ice makers & tea dispensers (water/green barley lemon-infused varieties) stationed near post-onsen lounges ensured hydration needs met round-the-clock conveniently enough plus massage chairs therein enhanced unwinding further still!Meals served privately allowed undisturbed enjoyment amidst ample delicious portions highlighted notably rice cooked individually per person atop stoves—absolutely delightful seconds albeit non-individualized refills possible nonetheless menu explanations displayed board-style aided understanding better likewise morning Houtou hotpot breakfast equally delectable truly satisfying culinary experiences overall! This wonderful accommodation provided utmost comfort throughout our stay leaving us eager anticipation returning someday soon hopefully!
