  • I used JRE Points for the outbound trip and the Kyun Pass for the return. When I arrived, the roads had been nicely cleared of snow, so I was able to walk from the “Michi-no-Eki Yusa” bus stop without any trouble. At the front desk, I received kind and courteous guidance, which made me feel truly at ease. From my Room, I gazed absentmindedly at the snowy scenery, enjoyed the Onsen, and spent a relaxing time. For dinner, as someone who enjoys drinks, I would have loved to take a bit more time savoring both hot and cold dishes… but that’s probably asking too much for this price range (lol). While chatting with the staff member assisting us, I chose some sake and was even allowed to take one go back to my Room, making for a wonderfully laid-back evening. The next morning… the view had completely changed into near whiteout conditions, but it was also special to witness how quickly the weather shifted—something you can only experience in nature here. The tororo at breakfast was absolutely outstanding! I ended up getting seconds. Thank you for the wonderful meal (lol). And thank you very much for driving me to the station despite the heavy snow! I’d love to visit again in a different season—I’d really like to see the sunset over Mutsu Bay.

  • Unfortunately, the weather was poor and we couldn’t see the sunset. However, we were very satisfied to relax in the large public bath and enjoy local specialties at the buffet. The website mentioned that the open-air bath is not available during winter, but I didn’t notice it, which was a mistake.\nI’d like to come back and try again in a warmer season.
