Located in the city center, it boasts an ideal location for business and tourism. Equipped with parking facilities, it is situated near Miyako Station, the connecting station for the JR Yamada Line and Sanriku Railway Kita-Rias Line. The Yamada Line, which resumed operation eight years after the disaster, was transferred from JR to Sanriku Railway and unified into a single line named the Rias Line, symbolizing hopes for regional development while providing a comfortable stay.

The soon-to-be-reopened Sanriku Rias Line passes right beside.

Miyako Station, the connecting station for the JR Yamada Line and the Sanriku Railway Kita-Rias Line. Starting in March 2019, the Yamada Line resumed operations after 8 years since the earthquake disaster, marking a new chapter as its management was transferred from JR to Sanriku Railway. The line names were also unified, combining the Kita-Rias and Minami-Rias Lines into a single "Rias Line." Located right in front of this exciting and significant location, Miyako Station, is Hotel Big Wave. Truly, it feels like a "Big Wave has arrived in Sanriku," and we sincerely hope for its continued growth and success in the future.
