My wife and I took an Onsen trip for the first time in four years. This time, we chose Ikaho Onsen, which we had never visited before. When selecting our Accommodation, we were looking for a place where we could relax in a Room with an open-air bath, and we found “Chiaki Jinsen-tei” online. After actually staying there, we were able to relax far more than we had expected. The open-air bath was free-flowing, the water temperature was just right, and I enjoyed it many times. The Ryokan staff were also very courteous, and even though I am quite picky about food, I ended up eating every dish as if I had overcome my dislikes—it was all delicious.On the drive home, my wife and I said to each other that we would like to stay again! When the stay is so fulfilling, the entire trip becomes a wonderful memory.

It warmed me to the core and was truly relaxing.There were many Onsen baths, and the private family bath is free, sowe could enjoy plenty of bathing with a private feel!With its long history—and no wonder members of the Imperial Family have stayed here—everything was clean, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a charming retro atmosphere.It was a wonderful Accommodation. The hospitality was outstanding.I’d live here if I could!The meals were refined Japanese cuisine and were excellent!I would definitely like to stay again.Staying here became a truly wonderful memory.

To the right upon entering the entrance, there is a hanging scroll titled "Autumn Colors at Lake Haruna" by the modern Japanese painting master Kawai Gyokudou. This piece was created specifically for "Chiaki Jinsentei."
Behind the front desk, we display a letter from Mr. Tokutomi Roka to the previous owner, sharing the joy of completing the novel 'Fuji'.
