A fusion of charm and Facility, enjoy sunsets and seasonal delicacies at a Property overlooking the Sea of Japan.
Kashoen combines the charm of a Ryokan with the well-equipped facilities of a Hotel. Starting from July 2024, the "Standard Rooms" and "Comfort Rooms" will be newly completed, and all guest rooms will be fully renovated. Situated on a hill overlooking Yuhigaura, all rooms offer ocean views, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent and beautiful scenery of Yuhigaura. For dining, we offer a variety-rich buffet with the theme of "beautiful and bold," featuring seasonal ingredients and local specialties. Relax to your heart's content with the breathtaking sunset views, seasonal delicacies, and the soothing Onsen.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset due to the cloudy weather, but we had a relaxing and comfortable stay in the spacious and clean Room. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, with everything replenished promptly without running out, leaving us truly satisfied. The bath was clean and pleasant, providing great satisfaction. The staff's service was excellent, and we look forward to visiting again during crab season.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 9/25/2025I decided to visit after watching YouTube, but the crab buffet I was most looking forward to didn’t meet my expectations.First, the aisles are narrow, so when people gather it’s difficult even to pick up food. Also, the direction of the line isn’t clearly indicated, which made it a bit chaotic. As for the crab itself, it doesn’t have the sweetness you’d expect from premium quality, so it wasn’t something I felt like eating a lot of.The Onsen baths for men and women seem to switch depending on the day, but both are exactly the same layout. It made me wonder what the point of switching is. The Onsen wasn’t bad, but it’s on the small side and didn’t feel strong enough to be a main selling point.Overall, it’s good for people who love crab, but if you don’t, I’d recommend somewhere like Granvia Housen in Fukui instead.
