Additionally, the baths surrounded by the great nature of Zao are exceptional. Savor local and creative dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Yamagata.
The townscape, bath, meals, and service were all perfect. Although foreign staff were employed, possibly due to a shortage of workers, they were doing their best. Coincidentally, the TV program "Bura Tamori" featured Zao during our stay, which helped us understand its history better and made for truly wonderful memories.
