We stayed as a family.Above all, the meals were outstanding. There was a wide variety of dishes, each one carefully prepared, and we were very satisfied. We also enjoyed local ingredients and ended up eating more than we intended.And the baths were amazing!We fully enjoyed Kusatsu’s Onsen—the temperature was just right, and all our everyday fatigue melted away at once. The open-air bath was especially relaxing, making this an Onsen you’ll want to soak in again and again.The staff were courteous as well, and it was a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.

The breakfast and dinner buffets also looked far from cheap, even down to the plates and tableware, which raised my expectations—and they were met, as everything was very satisfying. However, the lighting at the first table we were shown to was extremely dim, to the point that it was hard to see the food properly, so we asked to move. They kindly accommodated our request, but I still felt it was a shame—why that lighting?The Onsen had excellent water quality as expected in Kusatsu, but I’d give it 5 stars if there were a few more types of baths.I was also disappointed that while an affiliated Hotel had a ReFa shower head, this one did not.The Shuttle Service to the ski resort was very helpful.Considering the price as well, we were very satisfied overall. We would like to stay here again when traveling to Kusatsu.
