This Ryokan allows you to stay with your beloved dog at all times, except in the large public bath or during meals. We warmly welcome you with "dog-first" hospitality, including a spacious indoor dog run of 250 tatami mats equipped with air conditioning and heating, an outdoor dog run available anytime during your stay, and semi-private dining spaces for a worry-free experience. In 2024, new guest Rooms featuring open-air baths will be introduced, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bath time with your dog!
If you’re visiting Fukui Prefecture, I highly recommend Gekka! It’s a pet-friendly Accommodation, and dogs can also do Child Sharing Existing Bedding with you, so you can relax and feel at ease. They also have agility equipment, which made our stay even more enjoyable. In spring, there are so many cherry blossoms, and the walks are wonderful.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 4/7/2026The room and lobby were very clean. The onsen was also very relaxing. The meals were delicious, and I was able to enjoy them with my dog, who seemed very satisfied as well. Although there was no bed for dogs in the guest room, I brought my dog's favorite bed, which worked out perfectly. Perhaps it wasn't provided because dogs are allowed to share existing bedding with their owners. On the day of our stay, it rained, but having both indoor and outdoor dog runs was a great help. I would love to stay here again!

One of the attractions of Tsukika is that you can enjoy meals with your dog. The restaurant, where the whole family can dine together, features semi-private spaces separated by partitions at each table, preventing distractions from other dogs. Both guests and their dogs can enjoy their meals comfortably. The chef's handmade special dishes exclusively for dogs are also highly popular!
