    In December 2023, we renovated the bathrooms in all guest rooms.

    In December 2023, we completed a major renovation, replacing the unit bath with a separate shower room and toilet!
    The space has been transformed into a spacious, comfortable, and clean environment.

    The doors are made of New Zealand pine, and the toilet walls feature EcoCarat.
    The washbasin, closet, and mirror are custom-made by Tanpopo Workshop.

    Notice of Discontinuation of Single-Use Amenities

    For the past few years, Hakuba Village has been working village-wide to eliminate disposable amenities, reduce plastic use, and cut waste.
    To help protect Hakuba’s magnificent natural environment and snowfall, please bring your own toothbrush and other personal items.

    In recent years, there have been stretches of several weeks when summer is too hot to be called a cool retreat, and due to low snowfall the mountains sometimes close before Golden Week.
    Amenities may seem like a small matter, but one step by 100 people makes a bigger difference than 100 steps by one person in slowing global warming.
    Please consider bringing your usual toothbrush and other items, or filling up with Hakuba’s natural spring water to reduce plastic bottles.
    So that this rich nature can continue to heal us 100 years from now, why not start today—each of us doing what we can—to be kinder to the planet?
