Kyotoya is conveniently located in the center of the "Takeo Onsen Town," making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Saga and Takeo. Kyotoya, a Property with over 100 years of history, exudes the atmosphere of Taisho Romanticism. We welcome our guests with a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of the Taisho era. The Rooms include the "Western-style building" with a touch of Taisho Romanticism and the "Japanese-style building" with traditional Japanese charm. You can choose your preferred Room from these two styles. The Onsen features an open-air bath and a large public bath. Enjoy a fulfilling time with the renowned hot springs that flow abundantly.
I have stayed here several times. It is an excellent Accommodation within walking distance of the station, and you can also enjoy the Onsen. The complimentary light breakfast was delicious, which I really appreciated. It seems the Hotel in front of the station has started charging for breakfast, so I hope you will keep up the great work if possible.

I also enjoyed the music played from the gramophone in the morning. The tiled wall in the washbasin area of my Room was lovely as well. The Onsen surprised me—I didn’t expect stairs, and it was a bit dark, so it caught me off guard. I booked a No Meals Included Plan, but I was very happy with the complimentary breakfast service of bread and coffee. I recommend it for guests who prefer a light breakfast. For dinner, I received a local map since dining is on your own, but some places were temporarily closed, others were a bit far to reach on foot, and many seemed to be mainly open during daytime hours—so I almost ended up with nowhere to eat. In the end, MOS Burger near the station saved me. Since online information can be outdated, you may want to call ahead to confirm opening hours when choosing where to have dinner.
