We stayed here for our first family trip with my wife and our one-year-old son. Thanks to the charming building, the warm hospitality of the staff, and the delicious food, we had a wonderful time. The private open-air bath was also a beautiful space well worth reserving, and the three of us were able to relax and enjoy it together. If we visit Izu-Nagaoka again, we will choose Hotel Tenbo again.

| About Hygiene Measures | 【Our Property's Measures Against Coronavirus】
■ Requests to Our Guests
On the day of your stay, if even one person in your group has a fever or is feeling unwell, please refrain from coming to the Property and rest at home.
For guests who inform us of their condition and reschedule their stay to the following week or later, we will not charge a Cancellation Fee.
We wish for everyone to enjoy a healthy and pleasant trip. This is the wish of our Izu Nagaoka Hotel Tenbo.
■ Healthy Staff Will Serve You
- To protect the health of both our guests and staff, employees who interact with guests face-to-face will wear masks. We appreciate your understanding.
- Additionally, to enhance safety during close face-to-face interactions, we have installed acrylic partitions at the front counter.
■ Ventilation Between Check-Out and Check-In
- Check-out time at our Property is 11:00 AM, and check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
During this 4-hour interval, we ventilate the lobby, lounge, and restaurant by opening windows.
- During room cleaning, we first open the windows of the guest rooms after check-out to ventilate before cleaning.
- Since the number of occupied rooms is limited, we try to avoid using rooms that were occupied the previous day, leaving a one-day gap between uses.
■ Special Attention to Meals
- Our restaurant has 28 tables. On weekdays, we arrange seating to maintain distance between guests.
- All tables in our restaurant are separated by partitions, and the distance between tables is approximately 3 meters in all directions, minimizing contact between guests.
- At the food counter, only beverages are provided. We offer sanitary gloves for guests to use when serving themselves.
- Alcohol-based sanitizing water is available in the restaurant for virus prevention.
- Staff serving food undergo temperature checks on the day of service and wash their hands and gargle before welcoming guests.
- During check-in, we ask for your preferred breakfast and dinner times to avoid crowding. We appreciate your cooperation.
■ The Large Public Bath is Hygienic and Circulatory, with Open-Air Windows for a Spacious Feel! (Ventilation is Excellent)
- In line with new lifestyle practices, we have set a capacity limit of 40 guests each for the men's and women's large public baths. During peak hours (3:30 PM to 6:00 PM), we monitor the usage of dressing shelves every 30 minutes. A red indicator means the capacity is full, yellow indicates near capacity, and blue-green means fewer than 25 guests. If the indicator is red, we kindly ask you to adjust your usage time.
- Our large public bath uses Onsen water in a circulatory system and is disinfected with sodium hypochlorite.
- Dressing shelves and washroom counters are wiped down with alcohol-based or chlorine-based disinfectants during cleaning.
- For social distancing, we ask guests to leave space between each other when using dressing shelves and washing areas. We appreciate your cooperation.
- Due to the limited space in the sauna, maintaining distance between guests is difficult, so we have temporarily suspended its use. We apologize in advance to sauna enthusiasts.
■ Regular Disinfection of Front Counter and Elevators
- The front counter and elevators are areas frequently touched by guests. We regularly wipe them down with disinfectant to ensure safe use.
- Additionally, we guide guests to use elevators one group at a time. |
