It’s an older Hotel, but it’s kept very clean. The Onsen is free-flowing and the water was excellent! It was sometimes quite hot, but the tub is small enough that you can quickly cool it down with cold water, so it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast is Japanese-style, but they also have curry—very satisfying. Even though it’s on the Beppu Station side, parking is free, so it’s great value for money. Above all, the staff are wonderful. The housekeeping team, breakfast venue staff, and front desk staff were all friendly and spoke to us warmly. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Beppu.

The location is right in front of Beppu Station, on the quieter west exit side, so it’s easy to access by car. There is a large, easy-to-park free parking lot directly in front of the Hotel. For someone like me who isn’t comfortable with shared baths, the best feature was having an Onsen bath in the Room. There was also a large-screen TV with free VOD. I couldn’t try the breakfast buffet because I had a hangover. The only downside is that the Facility is old, but it’s clean so it wasn’t an issue at all. I stayed on an upper floor on the ocean side, and the view was outstanding. Highly recommended Accommodation.
