I stayed here the night before visiting the Mashiko Pottery Market. Previously, I stayed at a hotel near the JR station, but while urban development has made the town cleaner, I appreciated that this hotel's surroundings retained the charm of old Utsunomiya. Perhaps due to its history, some of the Facility is a bit dated, but the staff provided excellent service with warm smiles during both check-in and check-out. The parking lot was easy to find. Being close to downtown, there were plenty of dining options nearby.

All interior lighting (including the lobby, corridors, and emergency stairwells) will be turned off; emergency lights will remain on for approximately one hour.
Elevators will not be available. Guests arriving or returning during the outage will be escorted to their Room via the emergency stairs by our staff.
The automatic entrance doors will need to be opened and closed manually.
Air conditioning throughout the entire building (including guest Rooms) will stop.
Vehicles parked in the mechanical parking garage cannot be moved in or out. If you plan to use your vehicle during this time, please use the surface parking lot.
Water supply will stop; restrooms cannot be used.
Vending machines and coin laundry facilities within the Hotel cannot be used.
