"Haiunkan" is a small Ryokan with 10 rooms exclusively for adults. Room types include the special rooms "Sea" and "Cloud" with open-air baths (2 rooms), and guest rooms with panoramic baths (8 rooms), all offering ocean views. From all rooms, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the beautiful Sea of Japan and Taiza Port. Each room is equipped with a private Onsen, available for use 24 hours a day.

Kaiunkan is situated on a hill overlooking the scenic Tanabe Fishing Port area. On clear days, you can enjoy the blue sky and sea, while the ocean painted by sunrise or sunset, the glow of fishing lights, the charm of a rain-soaked port town, and even the harsh beauty of snowy winter days all showcase the unique character of the Sea of Japan. Tanabe Port is just a 7-minute walk downhill from our location.

In winter, we offer the branded crab 'Taiza Crab' from Kyoto, Taiza.
