    ■ Overview of the Accommodation Tax
    Tax Start Date: From stays on or after Tuesday, April 1, 2026
    *Please note that even if you make a reservation before April 1, 2026, stays on or after this date will be subject to taxation.
    Tax Amount: ¥200 per person per night.
    Tax Scope: All guests staying at hotels, ryokans, and other accommodations within Kushiro City.
    Collection Method: The tax will be collected separately from the accommodation fee at the front desk.

    ■ Combined Tax with Hokkaido Accommodation Tax
    Starting April 1, 2026, Hokkaido will also introduce an accommodation tax. Guests staying in Kushiro City will bear both taxes as follows:

    Accommodation Fee (per person per night excluding tax): Total Amount of Taxes
    - Less than ¥20,000: ¥300 (Kushiro City ¥200 + Hokkaido ¥100)
    - Between ¥20,000 and less than ¥50,000: ¥400 (Kushiro City ¥200 + Hokkaido ¥200)
