In 1966, with the construction of a new main building, it began operations as the current Yama no Hotel Musouen. Among the uniquely charming Ryokans of Yufuin Onsen, Musouen is located on an elevated area on the southern side of the Yufuin Basin, offering a panoramic view of the majestic Mount Yufu and the Yufuin Basin. With a focus on large-scale open-air baths and breathtaking views, we take pride in our Ryokan. The Yufuin Basin, rich in natural beauty, changes its appearance with the seasons, from fresh greenery in spring to vibrant autumn foliage, providing a soothing experience. Day-use visits are also welcome."
