Enjoy attentive service at a small Accommodation and seasonal flavors throughout the year
Property Hanayatei Hanaya, with the concept of "Like a small flower blooming in the field." Enjoy seasonal flavors with a menu that changes with the seasons, which you can savor in your Room. Additionally, we offer Rooms that cater to various needs, from individuals to large groups. Notably, the sulfur Onsen is reputed for making the skin smooth, allowing you to soak while enjoying seasonal scenery.
I stayed here for one night and two days two months in a row—late February (winter set meal) and late March (spring set meal). There is a free drink station near the front desk (juice, milk, coffee, and alcoholic beverages), and you can take drinks back to your Room. All floors are accessible by elevator. Since it’s a small Accommodation, it wasn’t a hassle to go down to the front desk on the first floor whenever I wanted another drink. There is also a chair inside the elevator, so you can sit while riding—something I truly appreciated as someone with knee issues. The Onsen (both indoor and open-air) is 100% free-flowing from the source. It’s compact, but depending on timing you may be able to enjoy it privately. (In my case, it was private every time—after daytime check-in, at night, and in the morning.)Amenities are available near the front desk for guests to take freely as needed.Towels and bath towels are provided in the bath area. After use, place them in the used-towel basket; when you bathe again, you can use fresh towels and bath towels. The washing area is clean and well stocked with everything: facial cleanser, liquid face packs(?), shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toner/lotion emulsion moisturizer?—everything you need. Bringing just a change of underwear is enough. I also saw women staying solo with light luggage; men may hardly need to bring anything at all.Check-in is 14:00 and check-out is 11:00, so you can relax without rushing. There are no shops within an easy walk nearby, so I recommend booking with two meals included and fully enjoying your stay from 14:00 until 11:00 the next day.The meals are luxurious—you can really tell how skilled the chef is.The quality, variety of dishes,, portion size,, taste—all were truly satisfying,, making for an indulgent experience.Since each season has different set menus (spring/summer/autumn/winter), it’s always something to look forward to.For guests on a Multiple Night Stay or those who stay frequently,, they can even adjust part of breakfast menu as well.I’m grateful for this thoughtful consideration so guests don’t get bored.Because it’s located slightly away from main Onsen town area,, you can spend time slowly at ease.If want quiet escape from everyday life or simply want healing relaxation,,, I highly recommend this place! (You won’t want go home—haha.)As weather gets warmer,,, I personally tend overheat easily so probably won’t soak much in Onsen then—but I’d love return again in cooler autumn season enjoy autumn set meal once more. They provide Shuttle Service to Noboribetsu Station. It’s best make Shuttle Service Reservation in advance request pickup time close desired schedule.
