The seasonal beauty of Kurobe Gorge, skin-beautifying Onsen, relaxation in a special room, and fresh delicacies from Toyama Bay.
A Property located in the most scenic spot of Unazuki Onsen, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the changing seasons. Situated at the entrance of the Kurobe Gorge, the dynamic beauty of the gorge throughout the seasons unfolds right before your eyes. The special suite, combining a spacious fan-shaped living room and a 10-tatami mat traditional Japanese room, is highly recommended for important anniversaries or commemorative trips. Enjoy the open-air bath in the large public bath, where you can feel the mountains of the gorge spreading out before you and the Kurobe River flowing below, immersing yourself in the grandeur of Kurobe's natural beauty. All local seafood is fresh and natural, prepared with the exceptional skills of our chefs.
This accommodation has a historical charm, but key areas have been beautifully renovated, offering a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. The location is perfect for a stroll through the onsen town from Unazuki Onsen Station (shuttle service is also available). We chose the "Kikutei" room due to budget considerations, but we were given a spacious room on the gorge side, which allowed us to relax comfortably. The bath was large with views of the gorge and not too hot, making it perfect for leisurely soaking. The meals were impressive as expected. Even though we opted for a casual plan, the creative kaiseki cuisine was delicious. However, regarding breakfast buffet—perhaps because we went at a later time—many items ran out quickly and were not replenished, leaving some regret about missing certain dishes... The staff seemed well-prepared in numbers and provided pleasant service that left a positive impression. Next time, I’d like to visit during the season when the trolley train operates (as long as it’s not too expensive... haha). Lastly, one request: when wanting to stay on the gorge side specifically, there wasn’t an option clearly set for this preference. It would be reassuring if there were separate settings like "Gorge Side" or "Standard/Assigned by Hotel," even with price differences considered!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 1/3/2026Our establishment, located along the Kurobe River, offers a serene environment where you can enjoy breathtaking views of lush green mountains and the flowing river from your room. There are three large Onsen baths available, allowing for a relaxing stay. Dinner was a delightful kaiseki meal featuring fresh local specialties that were truly delicious and satisfying. The staff were kind and attentive; when we arrived at Unazuki Onsen Station in the rain, we called, and the shuttle service promptly came to pick us up. This is a wonderful place where you can experience the charm of traditional Japanese style. We would love to visit again!

Introduction of the Accommodation

A breathtaking view overlooking the Kurobe Gorge and Kurobe River.
The Kurobe Gorge, located within the Chubu Sangaku National Park, is a deep V-shaped canyon formed over many years alongside the uplift of the Northern Alps. Its grand, natural scenery, a masterpiece of nature, is truly breathtaking and a source of pride on a global scale. Entaijiso is situated at the entrance of the Kurobe Gorge, offering dynamic seasonal beauty right before your eyes: in spring, the vibrant greenery full of life; in summer, the lush and powerful vitality of nature; in autumn, the breathtaking mosaic of red, yellow, and orange hues; and in winter, the serene snow-covered mountains enveloped in a tranquil stillness, as if time itself slows down.

100% Pure Natural Beauty Hot Spring
The source of Unazuki Onsen is located in Kurotani, about 7.5 km upstream along the Kurobe River. Fresh hot spring water is supplied daily to the Unazuki Onsen town through a pipeline. The spring quality is a colorless, odorless, alkaline simple spring, boasting high transparency similar to the Kurobe River. Refined by the magnificent nature of the Kurobe Gorge, the Onsen is gentle on the skin and contains a high amount of metasilicic acid, which is also found in skincare products, offering excellent beauty benefits. It gradually seeps into the skin, leaving you with a smooth and silky texture, described as "tsubetsube" (Toyama dialect for smooth and soft).

Private bath facing the Kurobe Gorge
In response to customer requests and feedback, we have established a private open-air bath (semi-open) where you can experience the changing seasons from the Kurobe Gorge.

The origins of Kaiseki cuisine using Toyama's delicacies
The Ryokan "Entaijisou" began its history in the 33rd year of the Meiji era as a culinary inn. Our kitchen, inheriting the traditional techniques of a long-established culinary ryokan, has produced many chefs active in various fields and can be considered the origin of kaiseki cuisine using the blessings of Toyama. With the "eye" and "technique" of chefs cultivated by the culinary philosophy since its opening, you can enjoy dishes that further enhance the deliciousness of fresh seafood caught in the morning from Toyama Bay.
