I chose to stay here after seeing photos of the cute Room and the luxurious crab dishes. I was worried because heavy snow was forecast, but since my Reservation wasn’t made through the Ryokan’s website, I was told I couldn’t make any changes and a Cancellation Fee would apply, so I went ahead anyway. The trip there was fine, but the trip back was really tough. I managed to enjoy visiting the public baths, and I was very satisfied with the lavish crab cuisine. Even though I thought having sukiyaki in the morning might be a bit heavy, I finished it all! The large public bath is small, but it had a ReFa shower head and hair dryer, plus a hot stone sauna area, so I enjoyed it. There were also various yukata to choose from, which was nice. I’d like to visit again on a day with good weather.
