A charming accommodation nestled in a lush highland at an altitude of 1450m.
A quiet and secluded location nestled within the North Yatsugatake resort. The Property offers stunning views of Asayama and Saku Plain, with a clear and unobstructed scenery thanks to all utility poles and wires being buried underground. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sea of clouds in the early morning, shooting stars in the star-filled night sky, lush greenery and refreshing negative ions in spring, natural coolness like an air conditioner in summer, vibrant autumn foliage, and a winter wonderland perfect for skiing and snowboarding. Experience the beauty of nature's transitions throughout the seasons. Our cuisine, highly praised in Reviews, features dishes made with fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. We take pride in serving meals centered around the highly acclaimed local highland vegetables. Using ingredients from trusted local producers and dedicated artisans, we ensure you can enjoy your meals with peace of mind. Guests often compliment the delicious rice, meals, and water!
The location is absolutely perfect. Surrounded by mountains, greenery, and the soothing sounds of birds, it was truly relaxing. Since it had been a while since I stayed at a pension, there were naturally some differences compared to a hotel. However, the warmth of the staff and the atmosphere of the facility made it such a wonderful space that I felt like I could live there forever. The amenities were minimal but sufficient, as I had been informed in advance about items like toothbrushes and their reasons for not being provided—completely understandable. The meals were made with local ingredients and were incredibly delicious. The nearby Onsen had an ideal temperature with an open-air bath as well; though depending on the time of day, it might get crowded and require waiting. Although this was just a short 1-night stay, I thoroughly enjoyed such peaceful moments.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 10/15/2025During dinner, Bossa Nova music played, creating a lovely atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Although the weather was unfortunately deteriorating, we were able to see the Summer Triangle. On clear nights, you can also see the Milky Way and shooting stars. It felt cooler than Hokkaido or Utsukushigahara; long sleeves are necessary. You can enjoy Hakubano-yu hot spring for a discounted price of 300 yen, making it very cost-effective. Conversations with the host were enjoyable at this wonderful accommodation.
